Best burgers ever!!! Rosemary infused fries to die for! Freshly squeezed lemonade totally refreshing too! Service was excellent, the vibes welcoming and chilled. Definitely coming back again when we’re visiting Cambridge

It was my first time at this place — and probably the last, despite its very appealing exterior. The beautiful, large windows and corner location really draw you in and create a great first impression.
When we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly and smiling staff member who seated us quickly, which was a lovely start. The service was fine overall, and the atmosphere was lively and buzzing — exactly what you’d expect from a spot like this.
Unfortunately, the most important part — the food — was a letdown. I only ordered sides, so I can’t speak for the burgers, but the fries were extremely oily, to the point where all you could taste was grease. The onion rings were the same. The halloumi fries were overcooked, hard, and lacked flavor. I was genuinely surprised by the poor quality, especially given how nicely everything was presented.
All in all, the place looks great and has a fun vibe, but the food just didn’t deliver for me.

Genuinely such a great dining experience! I’m going to be dreaming about those rosemary fries tonight. The seasonal Camembert burger was delicious. Friendly, quick service and decent prices!

I enjoy the burgers here. They are made on the spot and the quality is very good. The portion size is fair and enough. It is often very busy and staff try their best with turnover. Overall, I had a lovely experience and it is a good spot for a dinner with friends.

Lovely food,reasonably priced for Cambridge. The classic honest burger is worth a try. Only bad thing is the can of coke is 3.20 .. criminal price for a drink.

The burgers aren’t the biggest, but they’re very tasty.
If you’re big boned or just finished a marathon you may want to invest in your own cow, but if you’re simply wanting a tasty burger which isn’t made by Five Guys (or however many guys there are) then Honest Burgers is certainly a good choice.
The chips are a little greasy but not too much – a little grease won’t harm you as much as a non-meat meal – but you’ll find the added rosemary will make you feel nice and healthy for eating them.
The staff were friendly. Even on Christmas Eve when they’d rather be at home drinking Baileys.

Lovely having another restaurant where everything can be or is gluten free. Really enjoyed the onion rings, can’t remember when I last had them, I was a tiny bit disappointed with the coleslaw it sounded better than it tasted. Wish I’d tried the halloumi fries instead but my eyes were bigger than my belly!

This place isn’t as great as it was. But it’s still really good. On the plus side: the fries are delicious. The rosemary salt is so good. And the kids’ fries come unsalted, hooray. The service was seriously good. The guy at the door remembered our faces and we were able to get served in a short time. On the minus side they no longer serve shakes which nearly made me cry. The shakes used to be incredible. I also remember the burgers being more juicy and with more stuff in them than these ones. It’s like they have gone more minimalist but haven’t sacrificed quality. The prices are reasonable for the quality and I guess something had to give.

My wife and I have been several times over the course of about a year and it’s consistently been an excellent place to have lunch. She’s a very big fan of their plant based options and we both think the onion rings are exceptionally good as are their rosemary fries. They have a small but great selection of beers, would recommend the local ones the most. Always look forward to coming here for lunch when we’re in Cambridge. Staff are friendly and fast, would recommend to anyone that likes a good burger.

After a disheartening encounter at a nearby restaurant called Smokeworks , we decided to go to Honest Burgers. Our visit to Honest Burgers in Cambridge today was delightful. I was with my elderly mother, who has significant mobility issues, and the team went out of their way to ensure she was comfortable. From helping us find appropriate seating to checking to make sure my mother was fine throughout the meal. Their warmth transformed what could have been a disappointing afternoon into one marked by dignity and care.
The burgers were excellent. Flavourful, fresh and deliciously moresome. But, more than anything, it was the service that truly stood out. In an industry where empathy should be second nature, Honest Burgers delivered what so many aspire to but so few achieve: a genuine sense of welcome.
