Nice restaurant well maintained. Perfect portion size and amazing presentation. We found food bit mild so will recommend to order Indian spicy next time. Everything was nice but we added some salt as we needed it. We had high expectations and the food was good.

We ordered Chinese Bhel, Schezwan Noodles, Paneer Chilly Gravy, Paneer Angara, and Malai Kofta. What we received was an absolute culinary disaster. The so-called Schezwan noodles were nothing but bland Hakka noodles drowned in soy sauce—an insult to even the word “Schezwan.” The paneer dishes were a joke: undercooked, flavorless, and the paneer itself tasted like it had been dumped into boiling water with zero seasoning. The Malai Kofta was rock-hard instead of soft and delicate—borderline inedible.
I spent $127 on this abomination, and every bite felt like daylight robbery. Not only was the food undercooked and tasteless, it showed a complete lack of effort, care, and basic culinary knowledge. Calling this food is an overstatement—it was a disgrace on a plate.

We tried six different items, hoping for a good experience, but sadly none of them met basic quality — a few were even undercooked, and the naan was disappointing. It’s been hours since we ate and we still feel bloated, which makes us question how the food was prepared. We usually don’t leave reviews like this, but we felt it was important to share — this might be our last visit unless things improve.

I had another disappointing experience at Honest in North Brunswick. This place has consistently failed to meet expectations, and today was no different. I ordered the Swaminarayan Chinese Bhel, and it was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had. The quality was extremely poor — the only sauce used seemed to be ketchup, making it overly sour and completely unappetizing. Just had 2 machurians in it and no rice and only fried noodles.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here. Despite giving them multiple chances in the past, the food quality has remained consistently poor. I also know several others who have had similar complaints.
It feels like a complete waste of money. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location.

We ordered takeout today with high hopes,but the food was unfortunately not up to the mark. The Vada Pav was extremely dry and lacked the signature spicy and tangy flavors you’d expect. The Pav Bhaji was a bigger letdown—it tasted overwhelmingly of plain tomato puree, missing the complex blend of spices and vegetables that makes a good pav bhaji. We really wanted to enjoy our meal, but the taste needs significant improvement. Hoping for a better experience next time.

this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I’m not someone that ever writes reviews we walked in and already the family that was there looked miserable because their food hadn’t came in forever and then we ordered and waited. We got that the dahi puri first and the dahi tasted old and the puri was stale and there was a horrible after taste. we ordered the punjabi thaali and chole and a milkshake and all of that was horrendous. the milkshake was milk and ICE blended and one ferrero rocher tossed in not even broken. it tasted like a milk slushi. The paneer was the only good thing in the thaali but everything else was not even edible because it tasted so old. Dont even get me started on how vile the chole was. The lady working there was wobbling around so slowly and barely cared to be there and when i told her the food was very bad and that rhe edison and tennessee location tasts very good and despite being in two different states, the taste is the exact same. She was like no every franchise is different because every chef is different. and then when I proceeded to ask her if they have a Google review system or anything of that or she’s like no we don’t do Google reviews here. We don’t do any type of review here just pay and leave. There was horrible service and they see that the company responds to every single review here and I hope that they really read this one because I don’t need you to say sorry I need you to fire that lady and if she’s the owner, I really hope that your business shuts down because it is horrible and the food is so old. I hope FDA comes and does a sweep of your place when you dont expect it. Horrible place and the lady is even worse than the food

You’re better off going to the East Windsor location in case they take care of your rather than be on phones and they make it their food fresh right in front of you. You can see them rather than closed off with the blinds. The falooda look like milkshake rather than a Falooda. Is Windsor location takes care of you. Make sure everything is all set when you get it in a timely manner. Falooda doesn’t take about 20 minutes. Definitely will not be returning to this location.

Ordered Dosa today and it came with a small container of Sambhar. They should know that Dosa requires more Sambhar. Also few weeks ago i went for lunch and ordered Dahi Puri. The chutney was old and smelled bad. I am not the person who complains usually. But i will not order from here again.

I cannot believe how is this restaurant functioning. How can you serve such horrible food after taking customer money! If this would be my restaurant I would never serve such food. Bhaji Pav had no flavor and the onion were not fresh, lemon was dry. Sandwich bread was so hard to chew and there is more. I would avoid stepping in this restaurant ever. I am sorry to give such a review but I wished I had seen previous reviews. I appreciate someone from the restaurant responding to reviews but it’s just a formality. I’ll share this with my network.

I had a really disappointing experience at Honest Restaurant. I ordered the Bahubali Sandwich, expecting something flavorful and filling, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The sandwich was soggy, lacked taste, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh at all. For the price they charge, I expected much better quality and presentation.
The bread was cold, the cheese barely melted, and the chutneys tasted off nothing like the vibrant flavors Honest is usually known for. Honestly, it felt like the sandwich had been sitting out for a while before being served.
