After reading all the bag reviews we were hesitant but curious… We had a great experience. The food is really fun & delicious. It’s not your regular Mexican food & the menu is limited but creative good quality. I never thought of putting peas in my guac but it’s fantastic + I love peas.
Our waitress couldn’t have been better. She was sweet, informative & efficient. We love the atmosphere of this place and are grateful for the fun adventure. We’ll be back.

Had an awesome experience at Honcho Fuego! Katie and Sarah were incredibly helpful and kind from start to finish. They made sure we had everything we needed and were super attentive without being overbearing.
The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, the margaritas were perfectly made, and the hot chicken was absolutely delicious — great flavor and just the right amount of heat.
Definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious. Chicken taco and queso dip was so good. We had a great lunch and Sol was a wonderful server. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

Not a lot of variety like their other location. I don’t get the draw here. When it was the BBQ place it was so much better. The decor is still the same. So is the patio. Service was good though. Plus they got rid of the ice-cream in the back:(

Luke was a good waiter. Atmosphere is alright but we were not impressed with the taste of the food. The portion is pretty good to okay for price. Mine was spicy and that was not disclosed, and my husband’s seemed like it was missing something. We decided NOT to get any alcohol because that was WAY TOO expensive! The salsa variety with chips, shouldn’t cost $10.50, we didn’t care for the green one or the red one… although the white one was very good! We can say we’ve been, but will not be returning.

This restaurant feels like it’s still wants to be the fire hall. The seating and layout is the same other than the Mexican decorations and beer. The food seemed like it still wanted to be Smoked Meats but with a Mexican theme, food was good but not memorable. Our server though was simply amazing she did an excellent job and head of very good personality and high energy level.

Chloe was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She’s personable, friendly, and always upbeat, exactly the kind of energy you want behind the bar. Her professionalism really stood out, but she still kept things light and fun.
