Hometown Kitchen is a small family restaurant in Somers Ct, we are open Wednesday-Sunday 7 am-8pm. We serve FRESH seafood and comfort meals like Roast Turkey dinner, Shepard’s pie, homemade meatloaf, fresh fried chicken and much much more! We have clubs, wraps, burger, hotdogs, Rueben’s and Philly steaks and grinders! Mostly all of our fixins are made from scratch! We are very kid friendly as well! Hope to see you sometime, take a nice country ride and stop in!

One of my favorite things about traveling is finding yourself in a small town with a diner that has amazing food and even more amazing people. I decided to check this place out because I was staying in an Airbnb and was not disappointed. Dinner was so good I came back the next morning for breakfast! The baked scrod was recommended and did not disappoint. Neither did the peanut butter pie. And the blueberry pancakes the next morning? Delicious!
If you are ever in the area and want a nice, comforting meal with very friendly staff, make the stop here. I’m glad I did!

I like local family restaurants and this is exactly that. Very homey and friendly. Good food and reasonably priced. My only disappointment that I’m used to bread pudding being served warm and it was straight out of the refrigerator. Everything else was just right. The clam chowder was quite good. I would definitely go back.

A cute little gem! Our first time at Hometown Kitchen was a fantastic experience. The service was amazing our server was so pleasant and kindly let us know that breakfast ends at 12. We tried the sandwiches, a BLT and the Chicken Cranberry Walnut, and both were delicious! Highly recommend this spot. We are so sad we are heading back to Florida, as we would definitely be regulars!

Great locals diner. Seems that everyone there knows each other well and banter about. The service was warm and prompt. The kitchen was very quick. The Plaza Omelette is a very good meat lovers pillow style. You can upgrade to an English muffin for a quarter. There coffee is very good and she is right on it.

I went with the owners next door neighbor. I had the most amazing experience. Whole belly clams amazingly fresh taste. Warm people. I had to take my sister so she could experience my joy She ordered fried calamari s and it was delicious. I had to go with the belly whole clams again.

I will never come here ever again wicked over priced. I asked for a rueben to sub turkey instead of corned beef and was told it would be $4 extra. Seriously why?? $17 for a rueben we are not at Katz Deli in NYC were you get a lb of meat on your sandwich. A kids meal is $10 REALLY. 1 tiny slider with ff and the smallest kid portion of Mac and cheese. Don’t even came at me that you get a free drink. It’s NOT free It’s built into the ridiculous price of the kids meals. Enjoy the greed now owners, cause you probably won’t stay in buisness much longer

Great Seafood specials always on the menu. Food is above average and service is top notch. They give you hot rolls and pumpkin bread with dinner. The cornbeef dinner a few weeks ago was the best I ever had. Prices are great. Nothing is overpriced. Hometown is a sleeper restaurant in Tolland County.
