Very nice atmosphere, wait staff is very nice. We enjoyed reading the history of the restaurant, which was located on the table. Food was good. But the wings are absolutely delicious! Event though a bit charred, Loved the crispy skin and flavor from the barbecue.
Pulled pork with Swiss cheese sandwich very very good and great sweet potato fries!
Chicken fried steak was very thin and part of it was so crispy I couldn’t eat it.
Caesar salad great.

Great place with welcoming faces and great fan fare with everything made in house. Stop on Wednesdays for karaoke. Sit at the bar and ask for Lauren, I’m sure she will spoil you as she did us.

No cheese on the gross cheeseburger, ordered a quesadilla…. Got a pile of mush. The only good thing about this place was the waitress. The Mac & cheese the cook forgot to make. Yelled out of the kitchen it’s not his problem. Never received two orders of rice pudding either. Completely overpriced and a waste of money.

Staff was very friendly, drinks were good. Blooming onion is very good, and the vanilla cold (alcoholic beverage) was good. Atmosphere is great with fun decor. Live music started during our meal. 2 members of my party for steak and were very happy with it. Burger bun I think was toasted, which I wasn’t asked about.

Great find! Nice beer selection and a big menu. Food was absolutely delicious! Portions are really big. Picture is a half rack of ribs! Service was really friendly. Prices were reasonable. Definitely be back when I’m in the area (or near Mtn Creek resort!)

There was a time when this place was one of my favorite in the county. And over the years it has just been continuously going downhill. It’s a shame cuz it’s still can be or sometimes is still good, then the next time you’re there it is just beyond mediocre. Over the past few years it’s gotten worse. I don’t know who owns the place but every time something bad happens there it seems to have something to do with the owners son. Don’t know who he is I don’t know what he looks like but if 5% of what I hear is true somebody needs to keep him out of that restaurant because it’s going to be circling the drain sooner rather than later

Food is mediocre at best and a limited menu. Service was slow even though it wasn’t crowded, plus when 2 of us got our desserts, both fork handles were laying in the whipped cream. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area with better food and service.

We had such a great time at The Homestead! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The atmosphere is so welcoming and family-friendly, and to top it all off, we got to visit sweet Betsy the cow!
It’s such a unique spot where you can enjoy an amazing meal and also connect with the animals — my kids loved every second of it. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
