I had the most delightful brunch date with my mom at HomeGrown West, and everything was amazing! We kicked things off with their new Lemon Pop’d Heart—bright, fresh, and perfectly sweet—it disappeared in minutes. I also tried the Peach Basil Iced Tea. It was a touch too sweet at first, but a splash of water balanced it out perfectly. Such a charming spot with fantastic flavors—definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

I’ve been here before and had an above average experience and I was so excited to eat breakfast here for my bday. It did not work out too well. We ordered BYObreakfast, so it wasn’t that complicated. It was veteran day and we got there at 0745 hours and it wasn’t busy yet. After our server brought us our food, we both took bites of the fried eggs. They were cold. I moved on to the B&G and they were cold as well. Turns out, all of the food was cold. We notified our server and she asked us if we wanted it heated up, or a new plate, in that order. Who wants to be offered up heated up food to a customer? We ordered fresh plates. We waited patiently and about 8 minutes later someone new brought our food. It wasn’t our server, or the food runner. We think it may have been the manager, either way, he just put the food on the table and said “here you go”. He didn’t even give us an apology. Weird. We finally finished our hot breakfast and the server handed us the bill. I rarely expect to be compt for these situations(we weren’t), but to not even get an apology for letting our food sit out and get cold and then serve it to us? I might go back, but I’ll probably just stick with the one by Naftzger park, or not.

I ate there for the first time this morning. BEST BREAKFAST I’VE EVER HAD!!! I loved everything about this place. From the warm greeting coming in, to my friendly excellent server and the food….it’s my new favorite place to eat when I’m in Wichita. I had the BYOB, build your own breakfast. My eggs were perfect, the rosemary potatoes were divine, the bacon is to die for, the homemade strawberry jam was heaven, the cheese grits were the best ever. The coffee alone is worth going in for. They even gave me a fresh cup to go. There’s nothing not to like about Home Grown. I cannot wait to go back!!

I do not recommend this location to my 251K viewers…What a huge disappointment Homegrown…Ordered 2 Sweet Potato pancakes from the Al A Carte, which come with 3 cakes each, according to their website, but I only received 2 cakes each. I also ordered a biscuit and side of gravy, looks like someone took a bit out of the biscuit! Fruit tasted like someone put dish soap in it, potatoes had no seasoning whatsoever, what makes it even worse is that the front desk host was very rude upon pickup, she didn’t even greet us! What a huge mistake not once but twice!!! Lost a lost a loyal customer and many more to follow after today…

On the road in the Midwest, there are lots of breakfast options in the large cities. But which one should you try? If you’re visiting Wichita, KS you can’t miss with your morning meal at HomeGrown. We were fortunate to arrive a little before 8:00 on a Saturday, so no waiting in line! Service was excellent by Sammie, and the meal for five people was out pretty quickly. Everyone in our party was pleased with the meal and preparation and you can’t beat that. I don’t have any negative comments about our visit and highly recommend HomeGrown West in Wichita. Great experience.

As always, exceptional. Food is always on point! So shout out to those amazing chefs in the back of house! You’re killing it! Keep up the great work!
Front of house and our amazing server was outstanding as always. Homegrown is our regular place to go for breakfast. I love everything about this place. But most importantly the fact that everything is made from scratch. And as a fellow chef, I absolutely love this. Because this is how I also cook. Food is my love language and I can tell it is yours too. Highly recommended hands down every time! ❤️

Came here with a large group, 12 of us and we were able to make a reservation so we had no wait. They served us quickly and the food out did not take long.

I ordered the Carmel iced latte and it was good, nothing to rave about but gave me the caffeine kick I needed. For my entree I order the Denver omelette and it was great! The cheese was stringy and the eggs were cooked perfectly. All the flavors paired so well! The jam they served with the English muffin was delightful! Needed more of it by the end.

This is a great brunch spot for groups, food options for everyone and quick service!

We decided to visit and see what all the talk was about. We were seated immediately. I watched the person who would turn out to be our server hang around the kitchen area for 10 minutes. When he finally can to our table it seemed he had other things on his mind. I got the biscuits and gravy plate. It was served cold. In fairness my wife was very happy with her food. The next time we saw our server was when he brought the check. This experience was not worth the price.

Everything we ordered was delicious. And the sever was really nice.
We ordered turkey and avocado egg Benedict with potatoes.
Salsa Verde pork and egg.
And the little one got the kids triple play with a choice of 2 eggs, one meat, and a pancake with sprinkles.
Everything was gone, just a couple of things were left, but it was so good! Hope to go back soon!

First time here. The atmosphere was very nice but my meal was not all that great . I ordered the egg, sausage, and cinnamon toast. The eggs and sausage were very dry. Everyone else’s meal looks good though.
