Finally got the chance to drop in and I love the atmosphere! Our waiter, Kyle, was super friendly, very informative and helped with recommendations. Didn’t love the garlic bread- not enough cheese and garlic for me but the service, atmosphere and delicious pizza will have me coming back.

First time at this place after knowing about it for years. Did not disappoint one bit! Our server Cindy was kind and very helpful for our first visit.
We tried their Pepperoni rolls and fingerlings for appetizers. And appetize they did! The pepperoni rolls were warm and cozy like wrapping your tastebuds up in a blanket. The potato fingerlings paired extremely well with the truffle aioli served alongside. The rolls went well with the marinara and ranch. All of their dipping sauces that we tried were tasteful.
Then we ordered their meat lovers pizza which had spicy sausage, pepperoni, ham and candied bacon. Really good. Topping placement could have been more spread around the pie, but it’s really just a presentational nitpick. I’m usually a crust guy, however their pizza crust wasn’t my favorite. Perhaps I should’ve tried asking about their other sauces and requesting one to dip the crust in.
Will be visiting again! Came in with hunger and came out with a food coma mind and a full belly. Great job y’all!!

Stopped by yesterday with a friend for lunch. First time here. Cool ski decor. Not sure why we couldn’t sit at a regular table maybe they were short staffed. They weren’t that busy. We were seated in the bar area at a little round table. Our server Jacob was helpful with lunch selections.
My friend and I decided to do the lunch special for $14.50; personal size pizza with salad. We both split The Kicker special & “Pete” Za pizza and had the Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad. And the Italian wings.
I probably would try the Buffalo wings next time. I wasn’t a fan of all the stuff on top of the Italian wings. Both pizzas were delicious. Salad was good (not a lot of shaved brussel sprouts). We ended our feast sharing the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. That was good. The folks next to us had The Grinder without the bun and a salad. That looked delicious. I would try that next time. Overall I’d go back to explore the menu further. Hopefully we would get a bigger table and drink refills.

The wait was about 30 minutes on a Friday night, not too bad. We had the Brussels sprouts as appitzer, they were tasty Next, spinach salads with a unique combination of cheese, apple and olives. Separately a Arugula beet salad that was hard to eat but. For entry we did the homegrown pizza with a nicly toasted crust, it also was very good.

Homegrown Tap & Dough is one of those rare spots that nails it across the board—great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and genuinely great people running the show. Their hand-crafted menu and thoughtful beverage program make it an easy go-to for dinner any night of the week, but where they really shine is with private events. Whether you want a cozy gathering in their private dining areas or a full buyout for a holiday party, they make the whole experience feel warm, relaxed, and incredibly well cared for.
It’s the kind of place where your group can spread out, enjoy the space, and actually be together—no weird bottlenecks, no awkward layout battles, and no stress. Just good food, good drinks, and a team that knows how to host. If you’re planning something special in Denver, Homegrown Tap & Dough is absolutely worth a look.

The Homegrown Tap & Dough restaurant offers a rustic yet inviting atmosphere, blending mountaineering-lodge aesthetics with modern comfort and featuring hand-tossed pizzas, house-made pasta and a broad local craft beer selection. Many diners appreciate the warm décor with stone fireplaces and Western touches, making it a good choice for casual outings with friends or family. The menu is rich and varied, though with many popular items the wait can stretch at peak times and the portion sizes might feel design-oriented rather than value-heavy. In short, it’s a solid option for those seeking a comfortable, stylish dinner spot with good food and an engaging environment.

Really cute place! We were visiting from out of town and noticed how busy the restaurant was So we got on the waitlist and decided to go! My daughter absolutely loved it and we didn’t even get the pizza! We got the truffle fingerling potatoes which were delicious and we shared a French dip sandwich called the grinder. It was definitely spicy but we thought it was pretty great. Definitely a cool feel in the restaurant it’s a beautiful bar but a great family feel as well.

I finally decided to go and see what everyone is raving about. They were not wrong! The food that we had was so delicious. We enjoyed the pizza which was so fresh and tasty. The waitress was funny, efficient and mindful to be helpful but not intrusive. Her name was Jordan and you might want ask for her area when you go. The atmosphere is great for everyone from family to young adults meeting after work.

Went on Weds for some happy hour beers. Got a Rustic Pizza. Very good. Nice friendly bartender. Lots of unbussed tables. The ones behind the host stand were unbussed for the hour we were there. New guests come in and are left standing for why too long. No manager presence.
