First time coming here. I ordered the sweet potato pancakes. They were delicious. Loved the kids menu, our daughter got the confetti pancakes and my husband got the Salsa Verde Pork & Egg. We all enjoyed our food. Service was good, seating was great. Bathrooms were tidy and prices were reasonable. We paid $36 for 3 people. Would definitely come back.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we were really impressed! Greeted promptly at our arrival and sat in a cozy booth off in a corner (they also offer outdoor seating). Honestly, everything on the menu looked delicious! It was had to choose just one! All of their meals are very reasonably priced and a wide selection of both sweet and savory breakfast combinations. The pancakes were really the star of the show here! Fluffy and fresh, everything you’ve dreamed about for your pancake! Their coffee is hot and fresh, served in a large individual pot at your table to keep your cup full. And the bathrooms were very clean! The atmosphere here is like a breath of fresh air with some good ol home cooked meals and friendly staff! We will definitely return again in the future ❤️

The food is flavorful (but not over-seasoned) & everything tastes wonderful! I ordered scrambled eggs, potatoes & turkey sausage. It also came with an English muffin & a raspberry compote (or something like that!). It was all very good!! The restaurant is not very big, but that makes it a bit more cozy. Dominique was our waitress & she did her job very well!

HomeGrown in Liberty, MO has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive—they genuinely make you feel welcome and taken care of every single visit. The service is consistently great, even when they’re busy.
The food is always perfectly cooked, no matter how many times I’ve been there. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. On top of that, their mocha is absolutely delicious and has become a must-order for me.
The restaurant itself is always clean and well maintained. Even when there’s a wait, the line moves surprisingly fast, which makes it easy to be patient knowing things are running smoothly.
The only thing that truly blows my mind is the drink menu. They have all these fun, creative specialty drinks and all the traditional options—yet no smoothies?! That’s the one thing I wish they’d add. A smoothie would be the perfect breakfast addition, and honestly, it’s the only reason myself (and others) might choose to go somewhere else on certain days.
Overall, HomeGrown is an excellent restaurant with fantastic food, great drinks, and top-notch service. Add smoothies to the menu and it would be absolutely unbeatable!

Very first time here and it was awesome. My cousin and I haven’t seen each other and decided to link for breakfast and this was the perfect spot! I ordered avocado toast, roasted rosemary potatoes, and the homegrown original biscuit. My cousin ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, with her chosen sides of scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon.
Everything came out fresh, and it was absolutely delicious. The biscuit was amazing, almost like cake.
For drinks we had freshly squeezed juice; I had the Jolly Green, which consisted of apple, cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, grapes and lemon. It was refreshingly delicious. My cousin ordered the lemonade, she stated it was pretty good as well!
We didn’t spend a lot, maybe 16 bucks a piece. Our waitress was patient, friendly, and checked on us a great number of times. It was very clean and gave a homey feel. I will definitely be back, sooner than later due the restaurant being so close to my place!

AWESOME!!! Loved the food, vibe, and our server, Dominique!!! We ordered (and then shared) The Pistachio Cherry french toast and the Cottage by The Sea toast. Also got a Honey Bee coffee. All the food was great. I personally thought the pistachio cherry french toast was the hit of the breakfast. It was not a traditional bread but more of a dessert cake. It wasn’t overly sweet and the cherry topping was served on the side so that was even better. This was out of this world good. The option of turkey sausage was also fabulous for me because I don’t eat, nor do I like pork or beef. The Cottage by the Sea Toast was also good, but likely not something I would order again- mostly because I’m not a fan of olives. I loved the whipped cottage cheese, it was a great touch. But I’m anxious to return and try some of their Benedicts.
