Built in 1887 by the City Railway Company, this building was originally used as a horse-car barn and maintenance facility for Richmond’s horse drawn trolley system. The trolleys were replaced by electric street cars in 1901, and the building was refurbished to be used as a maintenance garage by the City Power and Passenger Company.
Buzzing bar with multiple TVs showing live sports, plus a menu offering hearty burgers & cocktails.

We are not from Richmond, and needed to find a place that could accommodate a wheelchair for the USA/Canada gold medal hockey game on February 22nd. Reddit pointed me here. Thankful for that.
I called the restaurant, and Gracie encouraged me to make a reservation online, even though the earliest time slot would be 11am. Just put in the comments you want 8am for hockey. Done.
We got there, and they’d put us in a little alcove with 2 TVs, and a giant table where several friends with kids were set up. Away from the bar (perfectly fine) the Standing Room Only (great) and chaos, but close enough to see the crowd and enjoy.
Our waitress was fantastic, hustling to all the tables in the section, She kept the coffee (and mimosas for me) flowing. The food was fantastic. I got the breakfast quesadilla, My cousin got the brunch tacos, and my husband got the brekkie sammitch. Everything was super.
The game went into overtime and I was sorely tempted to get buffalo wings (i’m a huge fan but very very picky – they have to be fried fully and CRISPY) but we’ll save that for another visit.
Thank you to the staff, the management, yinz had to crush the heck out of the morning for all these fans. And you did a great job (even with the little kid who barfed in our little alcove – so sad for him. But you jumped in to help clean up so fast. Fantastic response).

Had wings and nachos (don’t tell my mom) on the patio watching the VCU game. Food and beer was great. Staff super nice. Go.

Went to this restaurant for first time. On a Friday about 8pm. They have a outside area. Pretty empty but it was raining that day. Good for us..lol
Food and drinks were good and on point. We got our food to go. Packed very nicely. Those Philly egg rolls were so good and juicy the sauce pairs perfectly with the egg rolls. The wings were good. Burger was a real burger big juicy and cook correctly as I requested and the bun was a chefs kiss. Yes, I would def go back here.

We had a watch party the day after our wedding here. Food was great,prices reasonable and staff was attentive. They were super easy to book with. If you need a good day atmosphere for group or just want to have a good sports bar atmosphere for whatever sized party I’d recommend this place highly.

Honestly the best place to watch football! The vibes are immaculate. The staff is the best! They accommodate your group to ensure you can root for your respective teams and see those TVs. I love a Sunday at HTG!!

This is a fun high energy sports bar so we can get a little bit loud, but of course we know that going in. They also have a nice outside section which is quieter.

Wonderful place where they root for the hoomteam My wings were so hot that they fogged the camera lens while I took pics. The Caesar dressing was one of the best that I’ve ever had and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Multiple TV screens featuring sports and news, but I didn’t get good pics of the inside, as I didn’t want other people in them. Lastly, the service was great, although they were busy at time making 80 meals for first responders. I will definitely return.

Do NOT get that food. It’s disgusting they cannot cook. At all in there. Seating is limited so get there early, Other than that everything else is fine. Nice clean cool bar.

Quick stop in for appetizers and drinks! Got the nachos and the cheese is soupy but the tortilla chips held strong. Overall food and mixed drinks were mid. I have to give brownie points for them having falcon smash on tap, always a plus!

They went above and beyond! Food was great! Helped us get a seat to see the game we wanted, rushed a meal we missed on the order. If we weren’t visiting, I’d be here all the time!!
