Amazing!!! Everything I ate was phenomenal and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Go here!!! Order anything and it will be amazing. Boiled peanuts and pimento dip were the surprising standouts for me (best versions of these things that I have ever had). It was all so so good!! Make sure to get the Irish coffee frozen drink too. Yummy.

First time trying and i got my food to go. It’s in a nice area but there are only a few parking spots by the buildings and there are serveral other businesses around so parking can be hard to find. But got the food home i live about 10 mins away it was barely warm but the ribs were ok not bad. The meat an beans were surprisingly good and mac and cheese was awful idk but to be fair it didn’t look that good. Overall not terrible.

The first thing I want to mention is the quality of the service here. The way the team interacts with their customers reflects classic southern hospitality and the kind of thing that makes you comfortable.

The place is well decorated and clean. Staff is kind and knowledgeable, and they try to accommodate all needs.
It’s great for families. They have an outdoor space as well, very appropriate for these summer nights.
They run out of meats, just like any other BBQ spot so there will be things of the menu that won’t be available.
They also have different extra dishes every day.
The brisket was great! I didn’t love the Mac and cheese but mixed with the beans made it much better!

So we ended up here by mistake because the original destination did not have dine-in service on Memorial Day. We are so glad we ended up here. The food was amazing! We had fried ribs, and wings as an appetizer and they were both delicious. We also ordered brisket sliders and mac and cheese which were all tasty. We can’t wait to go back here and take more people with us.
I always give a sweet tea review and this one was maybe a 3 out of 5. It was okay, but not your Southern sweet tea like you would get at Dunkin Donuts.
Our service name was Joey. He was very attentive and I always love it when a server brings a refill of my drink without me even noticing. By the time my glass was empty I realized there was another full glass next to it. Best top tier service!! I’ll be sure to request him when I take a group there.
Oh! There’s some kind of mixture they bring out with the fried ribs that’s got a good kick to it. I was a little skeptical but it’s excellent! If you like bold spicy flavors make sure you try it.
They also have an enclosed patio that can be bought out. It’s normally the area where people sit if they have dogs. But I was told it’s cleaned pretty good daily. Just wanted to mention it in case anyone has allergies.
If I had to mention an improvement, the only thing I was expecting was a manager to come by and ask about the food or our experience but that never happened.

Great food and fantastic service! I love BBQ and trying new places far from home. I’ll certainly be looking forward to returning to Home Team BBQ so I can enjoy the tasty cooled meats and delicious sides. They had a nice variety of sauces on the table. The hot red was my favorite, it goes well with anything. The homemade mustard was surprisingly good too! Highly recommend stopping by Home Team BBQ if you’re in the area.

Went for a Sunday lunch. The kitchen was out of white meat chicken. I got the pulled pork plate with 2 sides instead for $18. The portion of pork was disappointing. The barbecue sauces were all heavy with vinegar and it destroyed my taste buds. The macaroni and cheese was flavorful but had terrible texture. The mustard greens were confusing to me. The mustard greens were front forward sour with vinegar but had a strangely off-putting sweetness on the back end.
The staff was friendly and fast but the bathrooms were a disgusting mess. This was my first visit here and I am disappointed to say that it will most likely be my last.

First time eating here. Got something to go. They left off one of my sides. Don’t have time to go back. $30 for soggy tator tots, a small handful of average brisket and a Hawaiian roll the size of a golfball was my first and last impression. Will never return.

We love Home Team in Charleston, all of the locations!- so we had to check out this location while visiting. As always, the wings with alabama white sauce are a crowd pleaser along with their frozen irish coffees! Our two fave items never disappoint, no matter the location. Service was great and atmosphere was too.
