This new Home Sweet Home restaurant is a refreshing and welcoming spot in the area! It’s a place to have a hearty and well prepared meal at a super decent price, with a menu that has a lot to choose from! I love the meatloaf, potatoes and gravy, with the homestyle green beans! Yummm! The service is always kind and courteous! From the moment you enter the door, you’re greeted by a friendly staff that seem ready to serve!!! ☕️

Was in Englewood looking for a new place to eat something different. The wife found this place as it was highly rated 4.8 i believe. I got the roast beef hotshot she got the Philly cheesesteak. I cannot lie it was amazing. She said the Philly was great. Spent about 30 bucks for dinner and we were both stuffed. Staff was super friendly. Food came out Jimmy Johns fast! I highly recommend this place as it’s cheap for the portions you get. First time here but it won’t be the last.

It was damn good! I don’t throw out high reviews. So when I leave a high review it speaks volumes. My sister picked up our take out order. We fed 7 people for $90 and some change. Everything was on par. I didn’t even know this place existed but I seen a review on Facebook and wanted to give it a try. We sampled a few things. Chicken wrap, the loaded potato skins, and the boneless buffalo chicken wings. The kids had cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. The wrap was great. Sealed together tight. The potato skins were like little boats they were great. The only slight thing was the boneless wings. They were good. A slight bit chewy. Maybe a little more frying but I’d get them again any day. I’m ready to personally try the cheeseburger because from the looks of it it didn’t look like just some frozen patty. It looked handmade. I’m ready to go back. I normally don’t get this hyped over a place. I’m looking forward to visit number 2.

We were in Dayton for a volleyball tournament and this was the highest reviewed restaurant near there sports complex that was open(4.6 stars). It was a cute diner though a little confusing in the seat yourself policy. The waitress came running grabbed us menu’s and utensils and then asked us where we wanted to sit. The service was attentive though it was obvious our waitress was having an off day. She came back k to check our orders a couple of times, but all the food came out right. The food was tasty, but we did question if it was all made on site. My burger had some tell take signs of being a frozen patty; but it could have been theirs and it still tasted good. Bathrooms were very clean. We would return if we were in the area. It is a little hard to find and parking near the restaurant in the strip mall was challenging due to the way thd snow was plowed.

I love supporting local. The only time I end up here is with my Mom or her seniors group so I don’t come much. Every time I’ve come the food has been increasingly more lackluster. For $13 I got the Reuben and fries and also got a side salad. The salad was limp and seemed about to turn. Small portion of fries for the money. The Reuben was the soggiest sandwich I think I’ve ever had. I needed a fork and knife to eat it and it lacked all flavor. I jokingly told my Mom that Wet Reuben could be my stripper name. It soaked through the paper under it so much I was eating paper with the bread. Wasn’t worth bringing up and complaining about. My Mom said the loaded potato soup was “okay” and not very hot. The owners of this place and staff are very nice but the food just keeps getting more awful. Not sure how the to-go order for my friend turned out. Just handed it to him when I saw him. I assume the other Reuben my Mom got to go for my brother was just as soggy and tasteless as mine.

Food was very good for a great price. Server was great. The place is pretty small so wasn’t a table that fit us well since big table taken. Went with this kids they liked it but did take 1hr to receive food from time of order. So if have little ones can be rough to wait that long
