The only thing I regret about Homeslice is waiting so long to try it. Nice vibes in the cozy old school bar/dining room area. Killer beer selection and a pizza menu to satisfy all tastes. I went for the carnivore pizza and an Italian salad. The salad is big enough to share with three or four people if you want an appetizer. The pizza came out pretty quickly too. Gorgeous looking,piping hot steam coming off it and cut in nice size pieces. Snappy thin crust not drowning in sauce and plentiful toppings all cooked to well done perfection. I now have two favorite pizza places in Toledo.Looking forward to trying more thier pizza creations.

So we literally had 4 different locals we met at different places, tell us about this Pizza place. They all said to try the mashed potatoe pizza. It sounded so weird, but also very intriguing..so we ended up stopping and getting a BBQ Chicken pizza, and the Potato pizza. Both were very good, and I’d definitely recommend checking this place out!

Embarrassinly I have lived in the Toledo area most of my adult life and I have only had home slice once before I gave it another try today. What a mistake! Home slice is such a charming place with the best pizza in Toledo! The pie has such a tasty crunchy crust and the ingredients are top notch. The slice has no flop and it’s cooked to perfection. We also got the home slice bread which was so good as well! Home slice will for now on be part of pizza stops in the area. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!

Taking a break from the Maumee Film Festival a good buddy of mine wanted to share a piece of his college days with me.
We ordered the DeCarlo and cheese bread.
A few months back I visited New York and ate pizza at a couple places. This pizza here is definitely a notch higher than one of those places- the cream cheese blending with the bbq sauce, 5 cheese blend and the hot sauce: the flavor is addicting! I’m glad I don’t live close because I’d be here an unhealthy amount.
I look forward to my next visit here when I’m in town!

I’m not a pizza connoisseur but I got two large pieces to go for only 5 bucks and I thought they tasted great! The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Would visit again!

We like the location of this restaurant, but today we ordered online for pickup. I showed up when the app told me to show up (20 min after ordering). They hadnt even printed my ticket out yet. They said it would take them 8 min to make my cheesy bread with garlic. So I waited while my beer got warm at the brewery across the street just for them to give me a cold cheesy bread with no garlic on it. I walked back over and they gave me the correct bread with garlic. The bread was doughy and undercooked. Just a terrible experience on a relatively quiet saturday downtown.

Such a cool place. I love the 2 stories and the patios. Certainly a place to come have dinner, lunch or which ever with friends and family. Great decor and the old rustic walls give it a wonderful patina.
The food is good, I really enjoyed the chicken chunks. I have also had the pizza and sandwiches. All also very good. Fairly busy most times, but never overwhelming. Fast service with a smile, nice people. Been coming here for 3 yrs now. Always ready for a trip to home slice.

I really enjoyed my cheese bread and salad. Everything was fresh and the right temperature. The crust has such a great flavor it’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Marinara yum I will be back very soon to try the pizza I can’t wait
Ok, I went back today which is a couple of days after first visit to try the veggie pizza and it was good. Fresh and I loved the flavor of the veggies. I think they had some kind of vinaigrette marinade on the tomatoes because it was nice to my tongue. I took a pic below of it.

We ordered our pizzas and it ended up being a long wait (cheer competition and walleye game) but it was well worth it and the staff was great. This is our go to every time we are downtown no matter the wait. Highly recommend
