Since they closed their Arlington Heights restaurant decades ago, haven’t been too far south. This restaurant did not disappoint. Frank was our server. Said he’d been there 22 years and provided a fun atmosphere. The pizza was just as I remembered and is my new favorite Chicago pizza. They were not shy with the ingredients, especially sausage. Their deep dish was awesome. Ordered both pizzas well done and they were perfect.

We have been getting take out pizza from this location for quite a while. There are 2 of us, and we typically order a “large, thin crust pizza” with cheese and 1 o 2 other toppings. We did that last night with our phone order. While in the carry out area waiting for the pizza, I noticed on the menu boards a description of crust options, “Ultra thin”, “Tavern style” and “Deep dish”. When we got home, I noticed that the label on the carton said “Ultra thin”. During the process of ordering the pizza, there was no mention of ultra thin rather than thin crust.
The ultra thin crust is perhaps half as thick as the thin crust that we always got. If we were to assume that the crust portion represents about half of the total pizza product, that means that what we got was about 25% smaller than the old thin crust pizza. Yet, THE PRICE WAS THE SAME!
Home Run Inn certainly has the right to change what it cjhoses to sell. But, to fail to let a customer know that it no longer sells what the customer ordered, and to, instead, give the customer a lesser product for the same price, can’t be right, Good bye Home Run Inn.

Tavern style pizza was good. Deep dish tasted like cigarettes and disappointment. You really shouldn’t hire cooks that smoke it gets into the food. Wouldn’t order it again service was a bit slow.

WOW!! I have never left an establishment SO satisfied in my entire life. From the moment I walked in, Gina greeted my group with the biggest smile. I feel like everywhere I go nowadays service is lacking, so when I see good service I KNOW good service!! Gina was so attentive, kind, and sweet! If you’re not coming here for the food itself (which is delicious by the way) COME HERE FOR GINA!! Also try their fresh baked cookies! (I didn’t have any but boy do they look delicious)

I was excited to try because I have only had their frozen pizza. Ordered Nick’s special with turkey sausage. It was delicious. We also had the zucchini for an appetizer. Nice and crispy, and the Buffalo ranch sauce was a good addition to them. We will be back and so glad we stopped in. Service was excellent, and the wait did not take long, considering it was busy.

Our server Susie (Sue) was absolutely amazing! She was always right there when our table needed anything. She made the atmosphere feel very welcoming. The food is always spot on. This is by far our favorite pizza restaurant. Specifically this location.

Waited about 10 mins on a Saturday evening. Service was great. Was pretty crowded so we was expecting some good pizza and they did not let us down. From the sauce to the veggies even the crust was excellent. We added turkey sausage since my wife doesn’t do pork and it was delicious as well. Oh yea and zucchini fries were good too. We live over a hour away but we would definitely make this drive a few times a year.

The pizza this last Friday was fantastic! It was cooked perfectly and was nice and hot/cheesy in the middle. For whatever reason the past few pizzas we got had weird bare spots in the middle. I’ve been coming here since 92 so I was a little worried but this was terrific.

This place was AMAZING We have bought plenty of Home Run Inn frozen pizza and enjoy that, but this fresh Home Run Inn was absolutely delicious 10x better for sure. If you like the frozen ones then I would for sure go here if you’re looking for a pizza place. It’s definitely worth it! We ordered some appetizers, pizza and we even got some dessert

Where do I begin? I had what was supposed to be a small surprise engagement party for my son and fiance. We were planning on 25 to 30 people however it escalated without is even knowing to about 40 people or so. The manager Jacqueline was absolutely fantastic and beyond helpful. Our server Alessia was over the top GREAT. They both went above and beyond to make sure mine and everyone else’s experience was fantastic. Watching some of the staff line up by the front to watch the couple enter was beyond sweet. In today’s day and age of lackluster service and subpar over all experiences, this was not! I would recommend these two fine young ladies and this location to anyone looking to have a party or just have dinner! THANK YOU JACQUELINE AND ALESSIA FOR A GREAT EVENING! YOU BOTH MADE IT THE BEST!
