They food was awesome! That why I definitely come back for the Big Byrd! It’s a big Mac when big mac was worth the trouble of eating! My friend got the Hamburger Steak. It was on point! I gave service and atmosphere 3 do too being understaffed. The waitress when we first got there was so stressed out and overwhelmed it made it hard to want to stay there. When the second waitress came in it started to be less stressed and she mainly took care of our table even tho she wasn’t our waitress. Love the food tho, except wing dings, we got the drums still raw.

As a local I wish it were better. I’ve been at least five times in the last year and every time the food is lame. My eggs didn’t even have salt or pepper. The most flavorful thing was the prepackaged strawberry jam. Everything else tastes like it comes out of a can, because it does. They have a trip advisor banner on the wall from 2016. It’s been ten years. My menu was sticky and covered with food. $17 for canned chipped beef, dry biscuits, and two eggs with no seasoning. Service has improved because at least this time I was greeted upon entering. The atmosphere is loud, bright, and dirty. They roll silverware right next to me as if I do not exist.
I think they need to wake up or this place will not be around in another ten years as their primary clientelle literally age out.
If you can’t even make a good breakfast, don’t expect me to come on the regular.

I love this place, the food is all good, everything on the menu is so good, the omelets are one of the best omelets ove ever had before.
The service wasnt amazing the last time, but thats far from me taking it down a star.
If you have a chance stop by hear, the food is worth it, amazing price point too and you get so much.

Classic diner type place where they don’t skimp on the fries, would recommend.
I had a cheeseburger and fries. Both were tasty. The service was fast and my server was friendly. Prices are affordable and you get a good sized portion. They also have fried zucchini sticks, which was a welcome nostalgia trip for me. The dining area was also very clean, with comfy seats.

A nice local restaurant serving typical diner style food. The waitress was very nice and attentive and the meal came out quickly. The omelette was good and cooked to order. My only complaint is that my wife’s order of cream chipped beef came out cold and while the waitress apologized for this happening they did nothing to actually serve her a breakfast that was warm!

Sometimes you just have to take a stand. Let’s just say we won’t be going back. After years and years of eating at this place back when I was at college and having our monthly breakfast there, they refused to add mushrooms to an omelette for a friend even if we were willing to pay the extra $.75 like the menu said, because you’re not allowed to custom order. So they said we would have to get a cheese omelette and then add five ingredients to it and pay extra for each ingredient rather than buy the omelette that they have on the menu and just add mushrooms. The cook and the owner are absolutely unreasonable. Wouldn’t even offer to give us the omelette if we paid the price on the menu. Owner said that what was on the menu was a mistake. Said she had to charge us extra because we had to order an à la carte omelette and pay for each ingredients separately. Ask her if owner would give it to us at the price on the menu, she said no and repeated that the menu was a mistake. Told us if we didn’t like it we could leave and not come back. So that’s what we did. I don’t often leave bad reviews on places, but understand that the people that run this restaurant and the owner have no interest in providing good customer service. They have TripAdvisor award flags on their walls from years past but none recently. I wonder why. Please consider whether to spend your money in this establishment. It’s a shame, because they don’t seem to be that busy all the time, you think they’d enjoy the revenue. Time to find a new place for our monthly breakfast. Praise to Beth, our regular server who is an angel and has to put up with this garbage.
Moral of the story: Don’t make a man’s wife cry over 75 cents worth of mushrooms.

This place has that feeling that takes you back to a time when things seemed a bit less hectic and the world wasn’t so soft. The food is pretty decent too. Home cooking type food. Didn’t get to try the desserts but I will next time

I don’t normally do reviews. We come here quite often. Food is good. Waitress was wonderful. The problem was the hour wait on food and brought out wrong food. So friendly warning don’t go unless you are will ing to spend over hour of your time there waiting for food.

Horrible my family goes weekly and today we went for lunch the rolls had mold all over them! Me and my mom were eating things with bread. Nikki who was a manager was rude and came out and said she will NOT comp anything other than 3 drinks expecting us to eat bread when the rolls had mold everywhere. I have called the health dept.. and Nikki was absolutely rude again and said good now dont come back. I am very disappointed because I live in Florida and big city and have never been treated this way by a manager or an owner or whatever she was. Who eats food bread after seeing mold on bread. I always thought small town ppl would be more caring about their business. I was a GM for dunkin 5 stores and NEVER EVER would I 1. Treated a customer that way and 2. Would have comped the whole meals not just a drink. And my family goes here weekly but not anymore. The waitress was amazing. Nikki might wanna get lessons on how to treat customers. So boonsboro be careful.
