We went during a non busy time. Food was good. Limited menu, but something for everyone. The burger was on the dry side. The fresh cut fries were awsome, as was the fish. The young waitress was nice and attentive, but left her long hair down. She kept on her phone and playing with her hair. She also handled money without washing hands before serving.

Went there for lunch with some guys from work. Got in and seated right away. I had the chicken fried steak, one of the guys had the 1/2 pound hamburger, and the other guys had the catfish. Everyone enjoyed there meal. The employees were friendly and the establishment was clean. I will definitely visit this place again.

I travel for work all throughout Texas and southern Oklahoma. Home plate diner is the only place I stop for Catfish. I’ve never had better. Always friendly staff, quick service and laid back environment. If you’re in the Davis, OK area, do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We had the best hamburgers a week ago and decided to check out other menu items. I ordered the chicken dinner and it was awesome. Lightly hand breaded chicken. Juicy and tasty. Homemade fries and gravy. My friend got the “special “, 2 of the biggest soft shells tacos stuffed full. They were very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Definitely a 10 out of 10 We like the mom and pops places and this was very quiet And relaxing I got the catfish it was fantastic My husband got the chicken fried steak and my daughter got a Burger All of it was amazing and they served this little tomato salad with your catfish It wasn’t something I was used to and when I asked the lady about it she was very nice and explain to me that it is a tomato salad that her dad likes with catfish It was kind of Tangy but nice. Would definitely recommend this place And we’ll definitely eat here again the next time we come through

I did it again. I ate my food up before taking a picture of it. ♂️ slap your momma good though. This is a must stop. Great service great atmosphere and attitudes. Had the lunch special today side salad and spaghetti with garlic toast. It was scrumptious oh scrumptious.

Order a bacon cheeseburger with fries. I received the 1/2 lb one but ask for the 1/4 lb if you dont want the 2 patties. The burger was great and fries were too. Will be back.

A great place to eat unless you are hungry. The portion sizes are large but not tasty. The menu is limited to either catfish or a burger.
