We got wontons and tom yum soup, both came out hot and delicious! Wontons were crispy, soup was super flavorful. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying the other dishes. Service was friendly and quick.

Update after 2 more visits, not so good. Clay pot cheats and uses dried rice to make it crispy, instead of burning the rice like it’s supposed to be. And the wonton soup lacked any of the vegetables the menu claimed it would contain, so just broth with wontons and noodles.

Good affordable Vietnamese food. Not oily. Tried the Grilled Pork plate and Crispy Egg Noodle dish. Grilled pork was well seasoned with sweet and salty taste. Served with rice, pickled carrots and radish, fresh veggies and a side of fish sauce. You can choose additional “topping” of other protein or egg roll for a couple of dollars more. The Crispy Noodles dish has veggies, chicken, shrimp and veggies with gravy. Gravy has a light chicken broth taste. So why not 4 or 5 stars? Food is good but flavor is on the lighter less complex side. Will return to try their pho next time I’m in the area.

Absolutely the worst $100 I’ve ever spent. I know I didn’t get someone else’s order because you could see there was one correct dish, and three dishes that looked like they were desperately trying to be right but just didn’t know how. It could be argued they were just the wrong dishes, since what they were did not appear on the menu! I was looking forward to a really flavorful meal and ended up with something that I wouldn’t have paid more than $40 for. And even then it would be grudgingly and I would be complaining the whole time. Obviously this was a takeout order because we went ahead and ate some of it (not much). If I had been in the restaurant I wouldn’t have paid for any of it besides the one correct dish. It was like they knew they could get away with it on a takeout order… There were more problems too. The order was delayed 50 minutes! Completely flummoxed by how they did so poorly in such a long timeframe. I think they finally gave up and just threw their cheapest ingredients together to get it out the door. Then the egg rolls, obviously they were frozen and way cheap. Mushy and pasty, so gross! So disgusting I wouldn’t buy it at the grocery store even on clearance. I am still so pissed off about this!!! Obviously. I usually give restaurants a second chance, but I don’t think this place deserves it, and that is saying a lot coming from me.

The pho was good – classic beef pho (on the lighter / less greasy side). But the menu lacks some variety. We also tried the fried chicken wings. They were well-cooked, but lacking some seasoning

Best Vietnamese food in the area. Amazing vegetarian and meat dishes. My veggie husband and my pork-loving self both come away completely satiated. Also, I highly recommend the avocado boba smoothie.

Very nice pho place, with some very good veg options.
I got veggie pho and really liked the flavors, the lady was very nice (so don’t agree much with the other reviews here!) and would definitely come back again soon. Recommended!

Excellent pho broth (both beef and chicken)—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Lots of customization options. Overall great food and good value.

This is a really great spot. Every time I visit Home Kitchen I leave with a full stomach and a happy wallet.
I see a lot of reviews for Home Kitchen commenting some variation of, “it’s not the best…” and I think that misses the point. In a world where we always search for the BEST version of something, there is much to be loved about a restaurant serving good food in large portions at an affordable price. It may not be the best food I’ve ever eaten, but it’s consistently delicious and filling, and I think that’s worth something. I doubt you will walk away disappointed.
