Excellent BBQ! We had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with Mac and cheese. All were delicious and Shay and Monica were both very sweet. Their music choices are also awesome! SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS AND ENJOY SOME GREAT FOOD!

First timer and was very disappointed. I am such a foodie and a big BBQ fan and this wasn’t it. I got a Brisket dinner with 2 sides and was given a brisket sandwich on a bun. That was not in the description. The price was $17 plus tax. The food was bland and brisket was full of fat. The sides were baked beans and potato salad. The beans tasted like it came straight from a can and the potato salad wasn’t horrible but not good enough to keep eating. Customer service was fine and the vibe of the restaurant wasn’t comfortable. Needless to say very disappointed. I won’t be back.

My wife and I dined at Holy Smokes BBQ yesterday for the first time. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was astounding. The owner took pride in his product, and conducts his business the old school way, with a love for his food and passion for his guests making sure they are welcomed. Great Mom & Pop restaurant. For some reason my past couple experiences have been terrible. I specifically asked for both sauces on my food and received none at all. Last time they forgot a whole slab of ribs. I expect more after spending 70.00 .

Let me start with the food is fantastic, no issues at all there. My brother and I have been wanting to go. But the disappointments: 1. Basic bottled ranch, which was very surprising and sad. 2. Menu prices dont match at register. Was charged $3.10 for a tea that was $2.60 on the board and other items had no price at all until your ring it up (wings being $22 for 12 small wings) 3. No refills while dining in. 4. No curly fries as shown online, just basic crinkle (we chose this BBQ today for the curly fries shown) but I will say the fries were seasoned well. Brisket was fatty and perfect. Mac and cheese to die for. Sauces delicious.

One word. Satisfied. We ordered ribs, brisket, fries, beans, mac-n-cheese, and potato salad. Everything was good. Enough for me to return and try something new next time. The meat was tender and seasoned. The beans were sweet like I like them. I liked the mac-n-cheese. The potato salad tasted store bought with a little kick to it, but it was tasty. And I love the way they do their fries with the sauce. Everything I ate was good. A+

I ordered the three (3) bone rib sandwich, coleslaw, and a holy punch. The food looked delicious. The ribs were tender but a tad bit salty. The holy punch was so sweet, I literally mixed almost an entire bottle of water into the cup. As black folk, we have to be mindful of our salt and sugar intake. Lawd, I sound like an old person.
The smell going into the restroom is stomach turning. It smells like mold for sure! The restaurant smelled fine but they need to talk to the owner about that restroom area.
I’m down to give them another shot. Next time I’ll try the brisket.

Very mediocre in mine and my husbands opinion.
Chicken and brisket were dried out.
The portions don’t match the price.
The beans should be in a cup not straight up in the box.
Mac n cheese was greasy and looked old.
Not enough sauce. The bread soaks up too much of the sauce.
Holy Smokes is a one and done for us.
