Holmes has the best soup ever.. I can’t get enough, every soup is something new, it is so good every time. Every-time I see a soup bowl at the end of the salad bar I get so excited, I have never had a bad tasting soup here. Thank you to whoever makes the soups, especially that spicy meatball onion one I forgot the name of it..that one changed my life I had never had a soup like that before, I’ve been thinking about it since. Right now as I’m typing this I’m eating their broccoli cheddar one, and yes it is very good. Thank you Holmes one critique though is can you guys have at-least one whole milk? Instead of two 2% milk dispensers…why does this school only have 2% milk it’s hard to find whole milk here (sorry, I am very milk obsessed person. Whole milk isn’t my favorite milk but it is more milk than 2% milk) edit: THE CREAMY CHICKEN PESTO SOUP IS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOODDDDD!!!!! And the spicy coconut soup chicken soup that one is SO GOOD TOO!!! Whoever makes those soups, thank you it is SO DELICIOUS

I’m a student here at CWU, and I’ve been very disappointed with the food here on campus. My boyfriend and I continuously cook better food in our dorm hall, and that is without having as much supplies as dining staff does, without having the room that dining staff has, without having the staff, without having the money, and without having the time that dining staff has. The food here is either super bland or way over spiced. Eggs for breakfast are never cooked all the way through. This food has left my boyfriend and I with food poisoning, throwing up for days on end, multiple times. It’s very frustrating to pay so much for a meal plan then get food that isn’t worth the value.

All you have to do is walk on campus and ask any student about Holmes dining room and everyone will tell you the same thing: Don’t go there! The food portions are so incredibly tiny that they leave you starving and if you do get enough it is coming right back up because now you have food poisoning. Like I told one of my classmates that I had food poisoning and he already knew that I had went to Holmes. Don’t be enticed by their menu and different options, you will get sick after going here. Thank you for reading through my review.

Food was cold and portions were tiny.
The service from the student workers were awesome, but the woman in the front is rude and obnoxious.
The atmosphere is gone, before they made it a buffet the surc felt calmer and way more relaxed now the actual surc is overcrowded and not many people in Holmes. All the table were dirty and sticky and leftover plates piled on half of them. I won’t eat here again as a student.

the shrimp fried rice is great, they only open all the stations for lunch so it’s a great lunch spot, it’s seldom okay for dinner since there’s only one station open and they change their dinner menu frequently

Not bad I think the prices should be cheaper. Not worth it on the week days
