Hollywood’s Restaurant and Bakery is a local spot that offers creative dishes and desserts in a casual environment. Many of their dishes celebrate flavors from the coast like the Coconut Shrimp or Hollywood’s Crabcake. They also offer comfort food like barbeque, meatloaf, sandwiches, fried oysters, and much more. Hollywood’s often provides daily specials with dishes that aren’t on the menu. To drink, you’ll find a selection of wine and beer featuring some local brews.
Southern-inspired fare such as catfish & ribs, plus homemade desserts, in a warm, casual setting.

Very clean, 90s era family restaurant. Prompt, professional and friendly servers with happy personalities. Mouth watering menu with a large variety of foods. Ribeye steaks, Reuben sandwiches, soups & chili, pimento burgers, BBQ quesadilla, cheese fries, fried green tomatoes, coconut shrimp / coconut chicken, oysters, crab cakes, fresh baked breads and super brownies and cakes. For lunch today we had salads and Hollywood’s are some of the very best salads in the Roanoke Valley. I had their popular Grilled Salmon Salad which is a California Cobb salad with a large portion of warm grilled salmon. Amazing with homemade creamy ranch dressing. I only got off one photo before my instincts to dig in took over! Reasonable prices for excellent food. In NW Roanoke near Hollins College, check it out. Hollywood, solid 5 stars.

While traveling down I-81 near Roanoke, we decided to have lunch at Hollywood’s Restaurant. They had great reviews on both Google & TripAdvisor. I try to avoid the chain restaurants and patronize the local places.
Our entrées were Catfish Matrimony, Cajun Meatloaf & Chicken Salad with a side salad & fruit. Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. Our lovely server was Braelyn. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Hollywood’s….Highly recommend you give them a try!

Some of my customers recommended this place, and I’m glad I tried it. My server was extremely attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The fried shrimp with grits and oysters were delicious, and the local lager on tap was refreshing. I’d definitely like to come back and try more items on the menu next time.

This place came highly recommended by the staff at our hotel, and now I understand why! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and almost homey the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable.
Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, attentive without being overbearing, and made us feel right at home. I ordered the Route 11 Burger, and it was fantastic. It tasted like a truly fresh burger, with juicy, well-seasoned beef, and the bun was absolutely perfect soft, fluffy, and clearly made fresh. My husband ordered the daily special, the Drunken Goat Burger, and really enjoyed it. He said it had a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with the savory elements. He also got the White Bean Chicken Chili on the side, which he loved rich in flavor with just the right amount of seasoning.
Before leaving, we couldn’t resist getting a few treats to take with us. We picked up three brownies, and they were incredible dense, fudgy, and a hit with our kids.
Hollywood’s is the kind of restaurant you look forward to returning to. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit if you’re in the area.

Hollywood’s is definitely a local gem! We went here on a Saturday night for dinner and despite our large party of six, we were seated relatively quickly! Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. The pork ribeye was wonderfully tender and had a nice flavor, the meat fell off the ribs, and the meatloaf was scrumptious. We also got the fried tomatoes and oysters which too were great! If you’re in the area, Hollywood’s is a must try! Especially, the desserts, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.

Had the coco loco chicken. Juicy chicken and excellent fries. The slaw was okay but it would have been better if it had a bit of vinegar in it to counter the richness of the chicken. Great waitress. She was super friendly and was hustling taking care of other customers. Will try this place again.

Fantastic place for lunch right near Hollins University. Definitely a favorite spot for locals as the place is always bustling every time we’ve been in. Excellent options for vegetarians and people allergic to dairy.
The hummus platter is a fabulous appetizer. Love the crab cakes. The salmon cake special we had on the day we went was delicious as well. The butterscotch brownie is very sweet and is more of a blondie.
The seafood was definitely pricier than most other entrees, but well worth it. Recommend for lunch in Roanoke every time.

I have lived in the area for about twenty years now.And yeah everybody it talks about this place as if everybody has been there. And everybody loves it. I was quietly ashamed then.I have yet to make the trip… Until last week that is. I was finally right there in the area with an appetite. And nowhere else to go, so I pulled in to the tiny cramp parking lot… The biggest flaw that i’ve been able to find here is the parking lot or lack thereof.. and we’re seated by a wonderful server who was just one of many.I really catered to all of our needs. While we were there. Being a smaller establishment the vibe was a little hurried but not exactly cramped. However, once the food came, you forgot about the parking lot. Or how you were going to get out and you forgot about the size of the dining room. And instead, he immerse yourself into some well prepared food. And no matter how full you get, don’t skip out with that dessert. They have a small but outstanding. That’s sort man of sweet treats that is just this shiny topper. I had a wonderful experience. It’s taking me a long time to get here, but I will definitely be back many more times

This is a smaller place and we met some friends here for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. The variety of options on their menu was exactly what this friend group was looking for lol. The overall dining experience was a 5 out 5 the food was a solid 4.3. Not blow your socks off but it is still really good. The staff their is second to none and as well all know… that in it’s self is worth its weight in gold! So kudos to Hollywood’s for having a great Lil spot with great food and amazing staff!!!!

Homemade food. The mashed potatoes were like Mom ‘s, buttery but not too much. The crab cakes had just the right ratio of crab to bread crumbs. The ribs were juicy and tender and the chocolate mousse cake was…. Well I’ll let the picture speak for itself! Couldn’t wait to dig in
