We went on a freezing cold evening and even waited about 10 minutes outside in the cold — but it was absolutely worth it. We’ve been going to a Hokkaido ramen spot in the Bay Area for over 25 years, and it’s long been our favorite. This Back Bay location did not disappoint. After coming from 70-degree California weather, the bowl of ramen gave me the warmth I desperately needed. Everything on the menu looked great, and we ended up ordering two combos.

Just wooow, what a deal especially if you are a student ! You get a free appetizer if you bring 2 of your buddies. Also I 100% recommend you get the combo but it is a lot of food ‼️. I eat too much so it was perfect for me but my friends could not finish it. I got the Shiyaki and signature ramen combo and it did not disappoint~!

We decided to eat Ramen while exploring Newbury and found this place. It is a small cozy spot, and it was worth it. We tried Kari miso, and vegetarian ramen and they were flavorful, and delicious. Would stop by again next time.

Solid ramen spot. Pretty popular spot but also a small store with limited seating, with frequent wait. I had the large shio chashu ramen combo with salmon gohan and soft boiled egg. Food is consistent with other authentic ramen.

Great experience, fast service and amazing food! The only tiff I had was the size of the dining room; it’s a very small place with 3 tables and a bar top but they do the best they can to accommodate seating you quick even if that means sitting with others you don’t know.

Ate here twice before submitting this review, overall this place is incredibly consistent and great! Great selection very fast service, friendly & it is family style so if your solo you’ll be sat next to another patron
The noodles have an excellent texture to them and each of the various styles/broth options are well executed & tasty. I do think that the combo is the best value overall. They also have a ton of options for students.

Great authentic ramen. The shop is small with very limited seating.
I am not sure it is worth the wait outside in the cold for this. If there is no line, then highly recommend.

Really decent ramen from a large ramen chain originating from Hokkaido. It taste nothing like that in Hokkaido. Nevertheless, better than the average ramen you get in the states. Quick service, decent broth. Good pork slices.

Hokkaido style ramen in Boston on a 95 degree day?
Why yes… please
When you see a line of folks lined up willing to wait 10-15 mins in 90 plus heat in humidity for a bowl. You definitely will know this place is legit.
It has all the flavor of that creamy mouth watering deliciousness for you. The noodles was just right of al dente in the broth. Nothing too salty with msg nor was it too oily to enjoy.
We got their salt (shio) and miso flavor. Both super tasty and on point to hit that spot of something soupy warm you will enjoy.
Ps. My two kids (4 and 8 yrs old) engulfed a large and a small bowl themselves. If that adds any more kudos to this place.

The Ramen flavor was good. However, the noodles seemed package noodles, very thin and crunchy. The place is really small, we sat on the same table as two other couples.
