The clear soup and sushi were absolutely incredible. The spring rolls were pretty good. The hibachi unfortunately did not meet expectations. The rice just tasted like plain rice with soy sauce, there was no eggs or anything special. The noodles had a very weird flavor to them. Their sauces overall just had a weird bitter flavor. The shrimp was pretty decent. I did sit at a table and did not go to the grill, that may have been a mistake on my end.

Speaking only for the hibachi but the soup in the beginning was not good. It honestly tasted like warm water with very little flavor. Hooefully it was just an off day. Salad was fine as well as the rest of the food was ok! Thankfully we got an interactive chef because I was watching the table in front of us and felt bad for them. We got 2 adult meals, 2 kids meals and 2 adult beverages and the total was $150. I was surprised it was that high as I just got the chicken. Turns out they added gratuity for our family of 4 which I thought was strange as most places only do thar for larger parties. I was not paying attention to see if there were any signs or anything stating they do this. Overall ok, but pricey.

We went there today for my brother’s birthday! It was a very nice experience, very entertaining and fun to watch. The rice did lack a little seasoning (salt, pepper, etc), but that doesn’t make or break the experience. The restaurant looked very clean from what I could see, and I could even smell freshly cleaned tables as we were leaving. I did notice some slight issues with the interior, such as tape wrapped around the rail for their ramp, but again that’s not a big issue. I was able to use it without any problems (I’m currently using a wheelchair as I recover from surgery) to help pull myself up as we were leaving. I would be happy to visit again, and hope to when I’m fully healed. Thanks so much for being so accommodating!

I love this place if I had more money I’d eat here way more often. It’s pretty quiet though not many customers are there when we went.
But you get sooo much food and it tastes great. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Awesome visit 10/10 would recommend.

Let me tell you about this place. The food was fresh! Full of flavor. AND the chef was very accommodating with adjusting our entrees to ensure the food was veg-friendly. And to think, I almost missed out on this place. Thank you to the other sushi place in the Petersburg for NOT answering the phone after 7 attempts.

My love and I were in the area and looked up local restaurants and the more recent reviews were negative. We decided to give this place a chance. 10 out of 10. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server brought us drinks right away. Our soups were served hot. Miso and Clear, both delicious. The pork potstickers… so great. Wish I could have had more. The dinner meals were fresh and fulfilling. Tempura cheesecake amazing!. Don’t sleep on this place. They’re fantastic!

Did the all you can eat lunch buffet when they opened up at 11am. Wish I went here sooner because I enjoyed my lunch. For the buffet you are allowed to choose 3 rolls at a time and they are 6 portions each. The rolls were fresh and of average quality. I chose 6 different rolls and feel I received a good value.
Service was quick and I enjoyed practicing some Chinese with the server in this Japanese restaurant.

I was very hesitant to try this new restaurant that I saw. I took my friend Karen there for her graduation gift. And I am glad I did. The food was absolutely on point. Everything was flavorful everything was hot and everything was served to us in a timely manner. And our host Nina Oliver which is a student in high school was so polite to us and even shared with us some of her gift of writing.. of course we just had to leave a generous tip for her. And I want everyone to know that if you are in town or if you’re local you’ve got to try this restaurant it is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience.
