I don’t know how people can rate this place poorly. The pot roast is outstanding! Reminds me of Mom’s! Cooked for 14 hours, it just falls apart. The mashed potatoes are HOMEMADE and delicious. The salad bar is very good too. I also had skyline chili which was delicious, along with a side of hush puppies. Excellent. I tried the fried chicken and it was very good, as was the meatloaf. Sweet tea was so good. Don’t be thrown because this place is located at a truck stop. I go here once a month for lunch and it’s always on point. Servers are very nice too.

I’ve been here maybe 4 times now over an extended period of time and so far no complaints. Most of the food is right on point, the waiting staff is great, definitely my go to spot to get a better dinner than what is usually available over the road. I’ll be back

My family and I dined at this Golden Corral Buffet in Elkton, MD August 18, 2023. There is an enormous selection of foods to choose from and many desserts. The atmosphere good but near the buffet area can get a little congested. The food is very tasty. I feel they need a few more wait staff for the volume of people they serve especially on the weekends. The warm apple cobbler was great.

I’ve been to many Golden Corrals but this one had me tears. I met this wonderful lady name Cheryl. (Ms Cheryl, I pray they allow you to read this review because you earned it) Ms Cheryl provided our drinks but she was so delightful. I’m so glad to have encountered her. I wonder what it would be like to be a grandchild of hers. The level of respect I have for her as a fellow black woman, a woman in general. I wanted to tip her but unfortunately the line was pretty long but this review here. Ms Cheryl thank you so much for being the sweet, genuine person. I wish you nothing but the best

I really don’t like the fact that this place is at a rest stop, and you have to go outside of the restaurant to use the public restrooms, but the food wasn’t bad, and the service was good. The table had to be cleaned, and you could tell the dishes were very old, some permanent stains. The baked fish and the sweet potatoes were tasty.

My family and I have been to this location a few times since living in the general area. There were a couple of times that we were not very thrilled with the food or overall experience. However, today really changed our minds. Our server was extremely tentative and polite. Our drinks stayed full, and empty plates were promptly removed from our booths table. Historically, it seems we’ve only visited when the steaks were not being served, but today they were, and they were very well prepared. Typically, we find Golden Corral steaks to be 50/50 on taste and quality of preparation, but these were on point. The buffet was full, and the food was hot and fresh each time we went for a new plate. My hope is that this location would continue this good service and quality, which would make for a consistent and good experience for all guests. If I had to give any constructive criticism this trip, I would say that having had a packed house, it seemed the general egress to the buffet and back to the table was very tight and difficult to traverse due to the quantity of people coming and going. I would recommend expanding to allow for better egress throughout the resteraunt. Other than that, this was a great time. Thank you for the great job. It really helped change our perspective.

We didn’t realize we came between lunch and dinner and although it was the messiest I had ever seen during a visit food was still good and got better because they started bringing out the fresh dinner foods. Their fried fish is the best fried fish I have ever eaten. Honestly it is the reason we love to eat here.
