Ate the Blackstone, Fancy Mango and regular mango roll today for lunch. I highly recommend them! Staff greeting us upon entry, booth seating available, delicious ginger dressing salad and sweet tea. Food arrived within reasonable time and tasted fantastic! We thought we would try something new and the Fancy Mango is creamy, touch of coconut and mango sliced thin so it is not overwhelming. I tried the Blackstone roll and so good too. Plenty of servers and easy check out. Atmosphere is relaxed casual w/low lighting & comfortable room temperature. Living here for over 30 yrs, it is one of our go to places! The place is warm, friendly and clean. Check them out on your next ‘date-night’.

Asked for vegetable fried rice add shrimp instead got zucchini rice with 2 pieces of broccoli and 1 mushroom sliced in half. Very disappointed. Literally had to remove the container FULL of zucchini. Need to add balanced amount of vegetables. I’ve been a few times, however most likely will not return.

I see many top ratings for Hokkiado, but my visit was a tad bit underwhelming. I want to start off by saying the ambiance was very nice and appealing. However… While the patrons I happened to be with enjoyed their dinners with 4-5* quality, my meal came out beautiful, but cold. The chicken was tough like it was rushed to be cooked. I had a chicken hibachi plate with filet. The filet was perfect, however. For the price, the plate received was relatively small compared to standard hibachi grill/entertainment fare. The host graciously asked if I would like the plate REMADE. I accepted and not 2 minutes later, did another plate arrive. Now, I am not accusing the business of just sliding the food onto another plate and microwaving, but I have done so enough time to know when this is happening and in my strong opinion, it is.I still was not satisfied and still paid for the meal as I don’t run out on bad meals. I may give Hokkiado another shot in the future, but for now, I will stick with.Wasabi’s.

I recently ordered takeout from Hokkaido and I must say that my experience was quite satisfactory. The food was prepared quickly and the quality was impressive. The sushi was particularly noteworthy – it was fresh, expertly made, and tasted delightful. As for the hibachi, it was also good, with the right balance of flavors and textures. However, the fried rice could have been better – it lacked seasoning, which made it a bit bland. But thankfully, the seasoning in the hibachi made up for it. Overall, I would definitely order from Hokkaido again.

My husband and I just happened to stumble across this place and decided to give them a try. To say we were impressed is an understatement. Don’t let the small storefront fool you – they have a warm & welcoming atmosphere.
The food is incredible. We both ordered the Steak Hibachi. They are extremely generous with their portion sizes. I even asked for extra yum yum & they put in a whole tub. The food was flavorful – the miso soup was even tasty! Our food was also ready within 15-20 minutes. I was not expecting this place to be as wonderful as it was, but we will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend.

I just got some carry out, so I didn’t experience any service. The place looked very neat and clean. The good was great and ready just about the time I got there. Great choice for a quick meal.

6pm dinner on a Saturday night. Not very busy. Beautiful restaurant, very attentive staff. I had seaweed salad and fancy mango sushi roll. My wife had a small salad and shrimp tempura roll. Everything was very good. Definitely going back.
