The food was worth the wait for the table. There were several empty tables but we waited for about 20 minutes for a table, so they must’ve been short staffed. The waitress didnt really say anything to us or return to refill drinks. But…the food was delicious, cooked perfectly and a very large portion. We had teriyaki chicken and the sauce was perfect, not too much. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back. Definitely worth the money.

Stopped for lunch on our way through Paducah on 12/30/24. Food was very good – taste, portion size, quality were perfect. When ordering a hibachi plate, know that you’ll get the meat/protein and rice unless you specifically get one with veggies. The Gyoza and Tempura Shrimp apps were amazing! We liked that you can easily add a side of rice, veggies, etc. as needed (we used this to add a little extra food for kids that we shared full plates with). Service was great – kind, attentive, accurate! Only downfall was that there was only one waitress working about 10 tables, but she was obviously doing her absolute best! We’ve saved this as a place to go to when we pass through again, such a nice change from the “typical” fast food stops, and nice to get out of the car too!

Black Sheep
The food was so nice. We had three rolls of six and one specialty roll. We had a tsunami roll(6), a lovely roll(6), and a California roll(6). The tsunami roll was so flavorful, it was a fried roll that had a wonderful crunch, and the spicy Mayo had such a nice kick to it. The lovely roll was great in between roll not bland but not to spicy either it also had the spicy Mayo on top. And the California was my least favorite of the night but it was definitely top tier as well. It was a bit bland but it was sort of needed to cool down the spicy of the other 2 rolls (they weren’t super spicy or anything but it was a nice breather). We also had a snow white roll (the specialty roll of about 12) and I think that was my favorite of the night. It had a great texture and flavour that just so nice. The sweet Mayo on top was a nice change of pace. And with all of it being about 55 $ with the tip it’s one of the cheaper sushi place we’ve tried. Our waitress Connie was a delight, who kept our drinks topped off and was very attentive even when it started to get a bit busy. We took a bit to figure out what we wanted as it was our first time here and she was very patient with us. The place was beautiful too. It had lovely decor, and the atmosphere was very calm. It was very clean. The bathroom was also very clean in my opinion. Its definitely a place I will be returning too.

They don’t cool the food in front of you but the food is worth it. We loved it everything was delicious. This is one of the best habachi spots we found around here. It was the closet ones to the ones we used to go to in Chicago and you know Chicago has the best food. Give em a try for your self though you won’t be disappointed.

The food was good. I liked the deep fried roll batter it was different than other batter I’ve tried. The only downfall was that the service was just ok, and it was a little pricey for the portion size. The soup was so good!

Our first time at Hokkaido Grill and Sushi, and we were impressed. Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed edamame, house soup, california roll, veggie roll and sashimi regular. The sashimi was excellent. We will be back.

Nice place, Food was good only complaint was the steak. New york strip was so tough and flavorless needed salt & pepper. Sushi was good rice and veggies amazing best part! Crab rangoon was very good also
