Today I came to my usual place and ordered two of their new ice creams, and it tasted delicious! The flavors were super smooth and refreshing. The look of it was super cute. Definitely worth trying if you’re stopped by!!!

Excellent service and the food was delicious! We ordered a wide variety since it was our first time here. Everything was super fresh and made in house. We had spring rolls, sushi and split an hibachi meal of steak and chicken. More than enough for my husband and I. The steak and chicken were cooked to perfection and the sushi was excellent (eel roll and shrimp tempura roll). Prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back. Only reason I gave a four star on atmosphere was because it seemed a little simple in decor and lighting.

We lived close by and always visited this restaurant. We moved away and still crave it! Great food and we are always surprised they aren’t more busy!

The service was prompt. The “Tako” was good. The clear soup very good. The salad was the usual you get at a Japanese Restaurant. Loved the Ginger salad dressing. A nice change from what I’ve been getting elsewhere. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The shrimp, the same. The fried rice and vegetables were very good. I would return if in town again.

Best Chinese food in town (been searching for somethinglike this for over 10 years), and offers delicious sushi too! The Honey Chicken tasted freshly made (not from frozen) served piled high on a plate…no extraneous veggies here, and was the best that my dining guest had ever enjoyed; same goes for the General Tso’s Chicken. Even the Vegetable Lo Mein was super delicious. The sushi was incredibly yummy and well prepared.
The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, but the food will definitely have us returning again.
A hidden gem if you’re a fan of sushi.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The clear soup is the best in town. The ginger dressing is perfect.its so good, you just wanna drink it .The sushi is always fresh. The portions are generous and it’s delicious every single time. The staff is polite and efficient.

The Hokkaido restaurant is in a strip mall on Hwy 58. The food was good but the yum yum sauce was kind of bland. We ordered the dinner portion and the amount of food we got looked like a lunch portion. I felt like it was kind of expensive for what you get. Soho Hibachi in Hixson gives you way more food and it cost less. As far as our service we had to ask for a To-go drink because we never got a refill on our drinks. When we walked out the door some bum tried to get money out of us. Would I eat here again, maybe…. But they need to adjust their prices and portion sizes first.

Finally, a tasty Japanese restaurant on 58. Carry out, and a few dine-in tables. We have tried both the Japanese and Chinese options now. We loved the hibachi meals! Fresh veggies, light sauce, grilled protein plus all the courses you expect. Soup, salad, appetizer shrimp, and fried rice. The Chinese meals were much more budget friendly and without the extra courses. Protein and veggies and a side of fried rice. For me, the sauce on the chicken and broccoli was way too sweet, but that is of course a personal opinion. We haven’t tried the sushi (and won’t -not my thing.) Welcome to 58 – hoping these new owners are the answer for that location that has struggled for years.

So as this our first time here I am going to start with the decorating. Surprisingly a few Asian items tossed into a red and white checkered covered tables. Feels more like a 50’s diner then Hibachi theme. More so because of the lack of Hibachi grills. So no show as they cook. Not really an issue as all the othe Hibachi restaurants in Chattanooga have shows that pretty much useless. Staff was friendly but gave off a hurry up vibe. The music being played was horrible. So the standard salad, yes out of a bag. Seems to be the standard anymore. The Miso soup tastes canned. Even my ice tea has no color or flavor whatsoever. Now our main courses, the tempra was light, crispy and well presented. The shrimp scallops, and steak meal. Well presented and cooked correctly. However the scallops mushy from being frozen. But that a side, not a bad meal. So all in all 3 stars.

Appears very clean, and smells fresh and clean inside. Had hibachi. Delicious, fresh, good flavor. If you are a big eater, portions might be a little bit small. Don’t eat sushi so can’t speak to that. Yummy
