Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. We went to Hogfish B&G several times. The food was outstanding. The night’s special (pictured) was outstanding and full of flavor. The wings were well sauced and perfectly fried for an excellent crunchy exterior while preserving a juicy interior. The broccoli cheese soup was an unexpected home run. On top of that, the bloody Maria was easily a 12/10. The staff was happy to help and quick with their service. The atmosphere was the perfect relaxed tiki bar vibe, but the food was high level, flavorful, and quick. We went back several times and will be back in the future without a doubt.

We have been in the Keys for 5 weeks and have eaten from Islamorada to Key West. The dinner we had here on our last night was at the top! The only problem here is the parking. We got here early and didn’t have to wait for a table for our group of 8, but did struggle to park. We were seated right away and greeted by a very bubbly, friendly young waitress. She was real good about splitting checks even though we were all split up from our spouses. Drinks & food came out quick. I had the blackened yellow tail tacos that were on special and they were absolutely delicious. Beat fish tacos I’ve had! Came with a big bowl of rice @ beans and chips and salsa. Others had the Hog Fish Sandwich, fish Reuben & hog fish & chips! Everyone loved their food!

Always eat where the locals eat.. that is my motto. So I tried this establishment as it came recommended.
A solid 3 -4 star for the food , 5 for vibe and service. The vibe of the place .. very cool . Total hometown feel and you can feel it’s a local joint . Great views and live entertainment. Service was great . Our waitress was attentive and friendly.
The food . Lobster bisque . It was good . It’s on the thick side . Lobster Mac and cheese, my son said it was great. I had the Hogfish tacos. I wish I read ( don’t know if it was even stated on the menu) that there was jalapeños in there as I felt it just ruined the whole dish . Took away from the fish and made it inedible for me . I tried picking it out but I just tried eating the fish and left everything else as the juice from the peppers just tainted it .
Key lime pie -great 1 soda, 1 alcohol. $100 $30 tip
Price point – I feel it was reasonably priced.

Great local bar and restaurant with fresh seafood! My friends and I had a great time here. Was greeted at the door by Moriah the comfort dog (she was getting seated with her owners standing next to us) and it was a great start to our experience! They had live music and the lady singing was really good. We commented how the sound level was perfect cause it wasn’t too loud for us to have a conversation and still sounded great. Plenty of fresh seafood options on the menu from bang bang shrimp, to scallops, and lobster Mac & cheese. All in all, everything was good and we will be back to try more. Thanks!

Wow. The food is fantastic! The hog fish is incredible. Several dishes available with hogfish. We had the hog fish tacos and the hog fish sandwich. We also had the grouper special. Large group and all our meals were amazing. The drinks were delicious and generous as well. We’ll be back before we leave the area.

We found this restaurant on our last day of vacation. We wish we had found it much earlier because their food was amazing. We had never had hogfish before and it was really very good. Everything came out hot and the server was really nice. We certainly would have been back More times if we had found it earlier in our trip.

One of the best seafood restaurants in the key west. Their ambience is amazing by the coast and their service is quick and friendly. They had a live guitar performance and a separate bar area. We crab cake, virgin mojito, fish taco and fish fingers. Their fish fingers is the best I’ve tasted. They were fresh, tender and juicy. Cooked perfectly and had good flavor. Every bite was moorish. Their crab cake was also soft and had a creamy texture inside. The tacos were also great and the meat was fresh and the quantity was good for two people. Overall we had a great time here and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who love seafood.

Great food, not so great service.
We had the Stock Island Mixed Grill and the Shrimp Tacos, both were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The place has a great local vibe and feels very authentic to the Keys.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the food. We were a large group and asked from the start if we could have separate checks. The waitress said they couldn’t split them but that we could each pay our part at the end. When the check came, it was all together, and we ended up having to split everything ourselves, not ideal after a big meal and a few beers.
We totally understand that some restaurants don’t split checks, but usually they at least help process payments individually on the device, which makes it much easier for big groups. A little help from the waitress would have made a big difference.

Recommended to go here by some locals and loved the food!
I personally loved the Fried Lobster tacos and loved the light crisp with matching flavors/sauce. Beans on the side were unexpectedly great.
Hogfish tacos were great as well.

Great spot, I can definitely see why it’s so busy! Parking is a bit limited during peak times but the food and atmosphere is well worth it. Hogfish sandwich and the shrimp po’boy were great and the fries were fantastic!
