This place is the bomb! There are plenty of great treats to choose from and everything is baked fresh daily. I particularly enjoyed the cake for my girlfriends birthday. The frosting was amazing and consistency was perfect. The cake was so pretty I almost felt bad cutting into it, but then I wouldn’t get to know how delicious it was. It was a delicacy.

The cakes are all delicious. Highly recommend the Coconut Cake and the German chocolate cake. The other cakes,are also excellent. The turnovers apple is my favorite are to die for. Did not like the chocolate brownies. Way too sweet. The baklava is filled nicely but too dry. Needed a little more honey mixture. Peuces are in line with other Bakeries. Atmosphere very inviting. The employees are very warm and engaging. They answered all questions politely and they were knowledgeable. The young ladies made my trip there enjoyable. I highly recommend this Bakery. A Nice Hidden Gem! I will stop there again the next time I am in Columbiana.

We live in Pennsylvania and came into town to take our dog to Paws on Main for his first birthday. We decided that the humans should also have a cake to celebrate his birthday so I ran into Hogan’s because we happened to be parked in the lot out front. If I didn’t live as far away as I do, I would be a fixture at this place. They have a such a vast selection of items it’s almost overwhelming. I picked up two loaves of Italian bread for dinner and when I walked up to the case two cakes caught my eye…one turned out to be a coconut caramel cake and the other was a strawberry banana cake. I opted for the strawberry banana because I have a child who isn’t a fan of coconut. I really enjoyed this cake because it was soft and fluffy (I commented to my husband that most baked goods I’ve had that contained banana were dense and almost rubbery) and it had this thick fudgy filling and it all went together so well!

I can’t say enough good things about this bakery. Just look at their website. Everything there is amazing. Nut rolls, donuts, special items like mini chocolate volcano cakes. They even made the wedding and grooms cakes for my niece. Angie is an angel. Both cake were beautiful. Visiting family this week. HAD to stop in at Hogans. Sooo GOOD!!
