We have enjoyed the food many times at Hog Wild. We ordered pickup tonight. The pulled pork and hot links were good. However, the ribs were the awfullest we have ever had— tough and fatty. Have loved their ribs in the past. We were hardly able to eat a couple of bites off of them. Not sure we will ever order their ribs again.

Nearly a 5… so go and enjoy. The ribs were fall off the bone great and the brisket was tasty. However, the brisket was pulled, not sliced. Potato salad was fair. The baked beans and sauce was great.

After hearing some promos about winning Hog Wild for the big game coming up, I was looking forward to grabbing some of my own between NFL Championship games today. I’ll begin by saying that I have always maintained that Hog Wild is as good as any barbeque joint that I have been to in KC, Texas, or Memphis. That being said, tonight’s meal was not the best that I have had from the franchise. My Smokestack favorite, usually overflowing with brisket and links, seemed a little thin on meat – and neither of the meats had the same quality that I expect. On the plus side, I always get and individual rib because I believe that HW does a great job on their ribs. Happily, it didn’t disappoint. Overall, still a great place to grab some great BBQ when you can’t plan your own backyard feast. But, there is a lot of competition for dinner dollars today. Consistency is key. Hopefully the Derby store steps things up to keep the brand’s reputation strong.

I came in the other night to grab some dinner. As soon as I walked in and went to order I noticed everyone was on their phones. No one acknowledged me. It took them a minute to even realize I was there. It looked like some gentlemen and a young lady with brown hair which I assumed was the manager. Extremely unprofessional. I’m very upset with the service I received.

Horrible. Ordered 2 lbs. of meat.. Got back home (in another town) to find that we got no sauce. Called up to the store and was offered a free dessert. Was told that the sauce is free so they couldn’t give me any refund.. That would be like ordering a drink with no ice.. Who wants a warm drink? NO ONE! The sauce is what makes the WHOLE meal! Had 6 people to eat 2 lbs of dry meat. Going back to the store wasn’t an option, so had to go to Doller General to grab some BBQ sauce. Will not be visiting this place again.

I love hogwild, but wasnt to impressed tonight. I made an order with door dash, when it was delivered, some stuff I ordered was wrong. I ordered the 3 meat, I didn’t receive brisket and even paid the extra fee. I also ordered the open face meal, I wanted unsweet tea (I’m diabetic), I got pepsi.

I went to sit down at one of the booths, and didn’t realize the seats were missing, I ended up falling onto wooden planks and have a bruise on my left hip, a bruise on the back of my thigh and a sore wrist. Told one of the employees and they never even asked if I was injured in any way or if I was ok, they just walked over and put up caution tape. My wrist is pretty sore, I would like for the store manager to reach out to me.
