What an amazing Fish spot. The food comes out with amazing presentation, tastes great, would definitely recommend the whole fried snapper that is always cooked to perfection, outside crispy with inside still being moist. The fried tomatoes were amazing. Their key lime pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. I came back here for the second time and it did not disappoint. The waiter was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend. The prices were also extremely reasonable.

So this place was awesome star reviews. So we decided to try it out and we started with Soo 1/2 priced drinks were amazing and the server was great, but infuse had to leave after we found out they only use peanut oil to fry their food in :/ we have a allergy kid so we had to leave. Hopefully we can come back and try it out without the kidded sometime. But other than that everything was good.

Don’t sleep on hog island fish camp! They put out some amazing food, service was very accommodating to a member of my part who had an egg allergy. Grouper Atlantis special and blackened salmon was cooked to perfection!

This is by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Dunedin! We had reservations, they called about an hour before to tell us they may not be able to accommodate us because they put us outside and there was rain in the forecast. We rushed over, realizing on a festival Saturday we probably wouldn’t get anywhere else.We appreciated that they accommodate us. We sat out back, on the patio in scorching sun. I highly recommend that you invest in umbrellas or a sail. I can’t believe you don’t already have one. I cannot recall any other restaurant in Florida not having at least umbrellas to shade patrons from the blazing Florida sun.
The waitress was very attentive, there was a significant delay with the food coming out. We ended up getting appetizers, salad and entrees within minutes of each other. I had the crap encrusted grouper, it was tiny, dry, and bland. My husband had the grouper sandwich. We usually get grouper, these were by far the worst we’ve ever had served to us! The salad was good, these hush puppies had no flavor and were very dry. My niece had the chicken breast, she said it had no flavor. We had “calamari” with no rings, only chunks of breading and steamed clams that had no seasoning. Our portion of the check was $130 and was the worst meal out in years.

We were sat at 6pm as a family of 5. Chris was our server and he was an absolute gem. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Then of course the food was delicious. Shrimp and grits was unlike any I’ve had and the men put away their share of all you can eat mussels.

I enjoyed this place. Ordered the Risotto Balls as an app then the Fish and Chips. Service was stellar, our server, runner and even the manager were attentive to us and every table around us. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the second year we’ve eaten at Hog Island visiting Dunedin and we were not disappointed. Oh my goodness, the shrimp and grits are out of this world. Every trip we will be back. My husband got the poboy sandwich and it was incredible- tons of meat! You’ve got to try this place! Tim our waiter was great too!

Arrived 5 minutes before happy hour ended, we tried a lot of small starters, the mussels were good, no sand, and fresh, and for $5 a plate you can have it! My meal was also very good, the pineapple sauce was nice and little spicy, the fish was fresh, server was friendly and attentive, one starter I didn’t know was grilled with sea salt, it was very salty for me, she replaced it for me! In the end, we finished all the food, everything was good! Will definitely be back.
