Stopped in Lagrange for lunch today. Found this little BBQ dive about 3 minutes off 85 near Great Wolf Lodge exit.
I knew it had a chance. Bad parking, old building, visible pit! It’s more of a takeout kinda place but they do have a couple of tables. Awesome folks too. The meat was perfect. Best I have had in a good while. Everything was dry rubbed not sauced up. They let the meat shine. Rub was great. Chicken was perfect. Cooked well but pulled right off the bone. Ribs were great. Fall off the bone, not the chew some look for in a perfect rib, but not overcooked at all. Very thick Brunswick stew with a lot of flavor. The cowboy beans were a little bland to me, but Cooked well. Almost like pork n beans flavor. Mustard base thick sauce. Good heat on the hot sauce. Meat just didn’t need sauce to me, but it had a good flavor. He also gave me a small slice of the brisket. So juicy and moist. And me and Kim ate for under $25.

We had the 2 meat combo plate with Ribs ,pulled pork and 2 sides. We tried the cowboy beans and Brunswick stew. I also tried the homemade blueberry biscuit which is very yummy! Everything was delicious! Ribs are fall of the bone. The family that runs it are very welcoming. We will be back!

Amazing! I ordered the comb plate with ribs and brisket. I got two sides potato salad and stew. The food was great. The ribs were falling off the bone and the brisket was so tinder. The customer service was amazing. I’ll definitely be back when I come to Lagrange.

The food was delicious!! I got pulled chicken sandwiches for the kids & all of whatever else my husband ordered lol not even sure, but he’s over there dancing while he’s eating. The miracle of all miracles happened… ALL 4 KIDS ATE ALL THEIR FOOD & NOT A SINGLE COMPLAINT WAS HEARD!! This has happened MAYBE!! 3 times in my entire life cuz they are SO! picky!! Amazing customer service and food!!

Awesome lunch! Some of the best ribs I’ve had and a great, tangy sauce. I loved the potato salad and my husband loved the cowboy beans since he doesn’t like the sweetness of standard baked beans. The owner was super warm and friendly and came out to greet our pup and bring him a sausage. Highly recommend!
