I cannot say enough good things about Chef Brian Leri and his team. Everyone has been raving about how good the food was at our wedding, and I agree with all of the praise! Chef Brian was super helpful in helping us build a menu for cocktail hour and our reception. We were able to take our moms with us to the tasting and all of us were blown away with how delicious everything was, and the quality of the food was exactly the same for our ~200 guests on our wedding day. My fiancé and LOVE that we can return to Café Monaco (Hoffstot’s restaurant, in Oakmont) any time we want to enjoy some of our wedding foods again. Something I also loved about Hoffstot’s is that they provided the full catering staff, including our bartenders. This was more cost-effective than having to find another vendor to provide these services. Everyone was super kind and skilled and helped make our wedding day run smoothly. Shoutout to the server who occasionally just showed up in front of my husband and I to bring us one of our signature cocktails or a water – I wish I had gotten her name!

We were in from Canton, Ohio on a weekend getaway. Rose, our server instantly made us feel at home and was genuinely proud of the place she worked while giving us a fantastic brief history/heritage of the restaurant as you would want any great employee to do. It’s nice to patronize a family owned business where not only were the food and service great, it’s obviously a great place to work as well.

Ate out on the patio on a lovely summer night. Staff were friendly. Prices are a bit high but portions are large! We decided to do the Scary Mary Bloody Mary, a brew on tap snd shared all of the following one bowl of soup (shrimp Dianne), cod sandwich with fries and the eggplant shrimp mornay appetizer along with the stuffed banana peppers ! We were stuffed! Total price $77 and worth it. We will be back

Had reservations to eat here on Easter Sunday. It was very busy, which was to be expected, especially on a holiday, but we were still served in a timely fashion, and our waiter was very friendly. The dinners that we got were delicious! The prices are slightly higher than average here, but remember, you are paying for quality! I would definitely recommend calling ahead and making reservations if possible, as they are frequently very busy! Overall, it’s a great place to eat!

My husband and I went to Hoffstot’s for the Saturday of Mother’s Day Weekend – nice and busy! The food was absolutely incredible, huge portions and delicious appetizers. Unfortunately, the service was really sub-par. We had a waitress who just didn’t enjoy her job. She was rude, at best. When she bussed our table, she got too close to me with the dishes in her hands and a butter knife slid across the back of my hair and onto the floor. No apologies. We will 100% be back to try again with a different waitress because we loved the food so much, and others around us seemed to be having a better experience with different staff.
