It took an hour and a half on a Tuesday to get our delivery. The driver did not even ring the doorbell just left the pizza at the door. When I brought the pizza inside it was barely warm once I opened the boxes I realized that all of the garlic knots were burnt on the bottom and I have no idea why they made the pizza the way they did, but they squeeze the sauce on the top. When we moved to Haskill last year, Hoboken pizza was absolutely amazing. Sadly that is not the case anymore, and we will not be ordering from them again.

Not the same food.. huge disappointment tonight. Seasoned fries just had salt & pepper and the to go container was super small for the price. The chicken cutlet sandwich was terrible and used to be my favorite. Pickled onions were hardly pickled, and the garlic aioli apparently means chunks of garlic, it was terrible. The cheesesteak had NO taste at all, so so bland. Also found an herb stick in the chicken cutlet sandwich.. I will not be a returning customer.

We ordered $10 4th of July pizza special. I get to the store pick it up and I notice there is no pizza made. The owner comes to the front (only worker at the restaurant )and tells me to wait a minute and goes to the back and gets a pizza. I notice the pizza was cold but I pay anyway and open once I get to the car. The pizza was so burnt and ice cold. It looked like the pizza you leave on your counter overnight. Horrific! I go back inside and tell the man that I want a refund as the pizza was burnt and old. He tells me to wait another minute and comes out with about 7 boxes of pizza. As if I could have my pick of these old stale pizzas that were in his back room. He then offers to make a new “fresh” one and tells me it will be about 7 minutes. I agree and long story short it took almost 25 minutes. when I get home the pizza look good almost burnt again from the top but was completely undercooked on the bottom and inside the crust.
I really believe the cheese pizza specials ( cheese pizza with specialty pizza purchase and $10 pies) are old pizza or premade pizza from the day before that he keeps in the fridge.

Burnt Zeppoles, not sure what happened to the fried zucchini sticks and Eggplant parm hero has three slices of eggplant, some unmelted pizza cheese thrown on and definitely not the same bread. New owner/management tried to tell me they haven’t changed anything. Gave them two chances, definitely won’t be back. Family in town also received inedible burnt pizza, they also won’t be back.

I have lived in the area for 7 years now, and I have become accustomed to the high quality that is fairly standard for North Jersey pizzerias. Apparently, Hoboken’s Pizzeria recently changed ownership, and the quality of food and service has gone down significantly.
I ordered several pies and appetizers for a work function, and I was told they would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived at noon (40 minutes after my call), and I was told to wait 15 more minutes. This happened twice more, and I ultimately did not receive my lunch until a full hour after the time that I was told it would be ready. I had 8 coworkers waiting on me, and I was mortified. Worse still was that the food was dreadful. The specialty pies I ordered looked like they were hastily thrown together by someone who does not make pizza with any regularity. It was very disappointing.
As an aside, 5 would-be-customers walked in at different times during my wait in hopes of getting a slice or two for lunch. All walked out empty-handed after several minutes of either being completely ignored or after being told that slices were not available. It was most unusual for a pizzeria in this area.
I will say that the gentleman working was hustling, but the quality of the food was truly dreadful. Hoboken’s Pizzeria used to be a favorite spot for our office, but I will regrettably not be returning.

I have ordered twice in the last month. The first time, I did while driving so didn’t see the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised with how good a plain pie was. I just ordered again after my positive experience and this time was even better. Rice balls are delicious and parma pie it’s super tasty and well made with plenty of toppings. The tomato sauce is great. Will definitely order again.

I came here for a quick bite. Ordered some garlic parmesan wings and some mozzarella sticks. It was delicious. I have to come back for the pizza. It’s a small cosy place. Three tables with two chairs each. They have delivery options. Everyone is super friendly.

I’ve eaten here before and it was okay, but after today’s experience, I’ll never go back. I stopped in for a simple slice of cheese pizza. I paid, left, and sat in my car to eat – only to find the slice completely raw on the bottom, barely any cheese, and paper thin. It tasted awful.
I went back in and handed it to the guy. He said sorry and told me he’d put it back in the oven, which made no sense because the top was already starting to burn while the bottom was still raw. I told him, “Thanks, you can keep it,” and just walked out. He didn’t offer a fresh slice or seem to care. He was too busy on the phone to even give me a moment of attention.
The whole thing was disappointing. Careless service and food that was honestly inedible. I won’t be going back.

My go to place in Pompton Plains. Their grandma style pie is awesome and they can custom make all kinds of unique specials just ask. Wed/Thurs they have a killer buy one get one deal. Great for large families like mine. Rocko is super friendly and the place is always accommodating.
