There is a delicious-sounding coquito latte, but I got those flavors in an iced matcha latte with oat milk instead as I am not a big fan of coffee, and I loved it! The barista here is wonderfully accommodating and skilled in whipping up delicious concoctions.

The biggest draw here is the location. It’s about a mile from Hobe Sound beach access, with a lovely walk along Bridge Road, which makes it an easy Saturday morning walk and coffee stop with a view.

The menu has plenty of flavored drinks, milk alternatives, and non-coffee options. It’s a family-run business with a strong focus on community, from sourcing pastries locally to hosting small-business markets and featuring art and treats from community members.

In full transparency, the coffee itself isn’t great. The black coffee tastes overly acidic and slightly burnt. It’s fine with enough milk and flavoring, but it isn’t the main reason to come here.

This isn’t a place to linger. Seating is limited, weekends are crowded, and the overall feel is more grab-and-go than cozy.

It’s a nice spot to support local businesses and enjoy the walk, but not somewhere I go out of my way to visit.

They do coffee right. Most places dont take the time to stir in the sweetener in the espresso and then pour the milk. I cant wait to come back! The breakfast sandwiches were just enough to get me to lunch.

Great coffee shop right on the way to the beach. It’s a really convenient location but I was pleasantly surprised at the options of not only coffee but food as well.

I normally like a basic vanilla latte but tried one of their seasonal drinks and was very glad I did. They don’t have a full kitchen but they have plenty of food options from local pastry and bakery shops.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! I can’t recommend this place enough

One of the true standouts on their menu is the Honey Bee Latte—a smooth, comforting creation that blends rich espresso with velvety steamed milk and a generous swirl of local honey. The use of honey sourced right from the area doesn’t just support local beekeepers—it adds a lovely depth of flavor you won’t find in your average sweetened latte. It’s warm, naturally sweet, and feels like sipping sunshine in a cup.

And while I’m happily sipping my Honey Bee, my 7-year-old is living her best life with their chocolate milk—declaring it (with full confidence and zero room for debate) “the best chocolate milk ever.” According to her, even astronauts would agree.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee, catching up with a friend, or just need a cozy corner to breathe, Hobe Sound Social & Coffee offers the perfect blend of local flavor and laid-back charm.

Lovely place with gluten free & vegan options. I tried the coconut key lime cookie large enough for two. Wow! The flavor! I also tried their special cappuccino; hot or cold. (see my pic). Wow again. Very nice! I am going back to get another one today before I leave the area. Seating in and out is very nice.

I stopped by yesterday to get a hot mocha to go. Upon payment, the gal at the counter flips the screen around for me to leave a tip and I add $1.50 to my $8 coffee which is appx 20%. Pretty standard. She then flips the screen back, looks at the tip, and as I’m walking away, I see her lean over to her coworker and hear her tell her “make it lukewarm”. I’m thinking, surely I did not just hear that. Sure enough, it was practically cold and I had to ask the co-worker to make the more hot which took a few extra minutes of my time and their time. Too bad the service was sub-par as the atmosphere is nice.
