Food all looked like shit when I arrived and very greasy but I still have it a chance. Noodles tasted too soggy and very sweet flavor rice wasn’t even fried right tasted like old white rice from days ago just cooked up again. Beef was so damn chewy I couldn’t even swallow it. Took one bite of everything and had to throw it away, my guy already knew I was gone be sick if I tried to eat it. Not sure how this place is still open. People with low standards would only enjoy this. Not even if I was drunk and really hungry would I eat this crap. Place is hot as hell inside too cant even breathe.

DON’T GO HERE! If I could rate it a negative 10, I would. I’ve never in my life have I ordered war wonton soup and it have almost black broth. It had zero flavor and you can just feel how heavily laden with oil it is. It tastes like someone tossed beef broth in a pot and threw in other random things at the end. You can tell they toss leftover meats in it because there’s absolutely zero flavor, and the meat itself tastes rubbery and old. To top it off, where the heck are the wontons?! Then regarding their chowmein? Disgusting, under cooked noodles that were again flavorless and only slippery from oil. The meats were soggy and oily too! Everything tastes old and feels slimy. Most disgusting Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. Literally brought the entire meal back for a refund, and they had the audacity to tell us we weren’t allowed to order there again… DON’T WORRY I DON’T WANT OLD DISGUSTING FOOD!

I ordered kung pao chicken that had zero red chilies in it and a bunch of chunks of white onion & bbq pork plus overly dry rubbery chow mein. I read 1 review that said it was their favorite place and recommended the bbq pork 10 months ago. Bad choice, 0/10 would not recommend. I threw my plate away after eating a little bit.

Now THIS is a Chinese place. The lady working the counter was friendly, gave me a few samples and their two-item for $11 smokes the competition. I could barely finish it. The front is very small, almost claustrophobic, but the food and service more than makes up for it. Highly recommended if you’re tired of being ripped off and want a real meal.

My all-time-favorite! Haven’t found another Chinese restaurant as good as Ho-Toy’s. Every entry is delicious and you can’t go wrong with any of them. My favorite dishes are: BBQ Pork and Teriyaki Chicken. They always pack your tray/container to the max – extremely generous when serving.
Of course, their customer service is great. Everytime I walk in, I am greeted with a “Welcome!”

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. I moved out of state for 5 years and was hoping this place would be here when I moved back. AND IT IS! The recipes have not changed and I am just so happy. The service is FANTASTIC. Get the BBQ pork you won’t regret it.
