It was so nice! My friends and I came here for an end of the semester trip and the food was absolutely delicious! ❤️ the waitress which I think was the manager or owner was really nice and the food was absolutely delicious! Great prices too, I really enjoyed this restaurant.

The restaurant was clean and very easy to get seating. The service fast the food hot, fresh and good. They give enough portions to take home and eat another day. The owner and servers were very nice and welcoming. A great place to eat at in Chinatown Philadelphia.

We ate here late night around 1130, the gentleman waiter was very kind and welcoming made a few dad jokes. We really enjoyed the service. Everything came out hot and fresh. We got the wonton soup, shrimp spring roll and Kung Pao chicken with white rice. Everything was good. Will definitely return.

My recent visit to this restaurant in Chinatown yielded a mixed experience. The food offered a blend of hits and misses. We ordered fried dumplings, which while slightly overcooked and bulky, possessed a flavorful sauce that enhanced their taste. We also got rice noodles with shrimp and chicken which was passable in taste, accompanied by generous portions. Yet the starter soup was rather unpalatable.

The Hunan chicken dish was satisfactory but left room for improvement. On the brighter side, the shrimp fried rice was enjoyable, offering a decent flavor profile.

Regrettably, the service fell short of expectations. We were served water in unclean glasses, indicating a lapse in hygiene standards. Moreover, the incident where the aged waiter accidentally spilled water while clearing our table was handled quite insensitively. His dismissive attitude, making light of the situation without an apology, was disappointing.

The restaurant itself seemed to lack proper cleanliness and hygiene, evident throughout the premises. While some might find it reasonable for the price, the overall hygiene concerns and lackluster service make it unlikely for me to revisit anytime soon.

Within the first minute of us sitting down, the waitress immediately came over and asked what food we wanted. She seemed surprised when we asked for a couple of minutes for us to decide what we wanted (it’s a very big menu) but left. In the next 5 minutes we had the staff ask us 3 more times if we were ready to order yet. It felt very rushed and quite stressful, but once we’d ordered the atmosphere was fine. I’d suggest knowing what you want before going there. At the end of the meal, we had a random extra 35$ charge on the check which we didn’t notice at the time since the check was written in Chinese and only realised after looking back the next day. Not sure what this charge was for but the food was fine.

Lovely is the only word that can possibly describe my visit. The atmosphere was great as soon as my friends and I stepped in, but we had OUTSTANDING service that took our meal above and beyond. The man who took our meals and served us was incredibly funny, kind, and caring. We were treated like family and the food was great to boot.

I absolutely would return and highly recommend anyone try it out.

I dined in here for dinner. I ordered Hot & Spicy Hunan Wings, Red Cooked Beef w Chinese Broccoli, and a Mango Smoothie. The wings were crispy and maintained their crisp despite the lovely wet, sticky sauce that they were served in. All of the vegetables that they came with tasted very fresh. There was something about the flavor of the wings that I couldn’t quite place and it may have been reused cooking oil, but this mostly seemed to give the flavor of the wings a more positive complex character, rather than detracting too much from the experience.

The beef had an amazing rich, complex flavor and was a very lovely tender texture, but it was a bit too salty. I still very much enjoyed it as it was very tasty otherwise. It was definitely worth the price and was probably one of the best beef dishes I’ve had.

The smoothie was alright, and a refreshing relief from the spiciness of the wings, but it was not very homogenous in texture.

The server was friendly and attentive, which was much appreciated. However, he asked if I wanted tea when I first arrived, which is usually not an extra charge at Chinese restaurants, so I was disappointed to find a charge for this on my bill without having been informed in advance about it. The same happened with the plain white rice – it is often included, so I didn’t know it would be an extra charge until I received the bill. This would be less of an issue if customers are informed in advance that these are separate charges.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is overall warm and comfortable. The dining room appeared very clean. They do have a TV, on which they had the news playing and in my opinion, no matter what is playing, a TV detracts from the atmosphere.

We had a lovely experience at this restaurant. If you are looking for delicious vegan Chinese food, this is a great option! Not only do they have a full vegetarian section, but any of the vegetable Noodle or rice dishes they will make vegan. We ordered the Mapo Tofu and Vegetable Chow Fun and it was absolutely delicious! The flavours were amazing and the portions were so big that we have enough to eat for breakfast tomorrow. The photos I have are of half eaten food because the food smelled so good, I forgot to take photos before we got started.

The atmosphere was also nice, there were beautiful decorations, the entire restaurant is small, with little space to maneuver around but that made is very cozy on a cold day, and the bathrooms were clean and well kept with supplies.

The service was also fast and friendly.

I highly recommend this restaurant, we’ll definitely be back.
