Got a bagel sandwich. Bagel is so so. It looks like it was bought. Do they make their own fresh bagel here. I didn’t smell any baking smell. Service is good.

No visible signs either on the door or register disclosing credit card fees, as required per law. I asked the employee if they charge a credit card fee, she said yes, I asked how much, she said 4%. Per law, it is illegal to impose a credit card fee higher than the actual processing fee. I don’t know of a credit card that charges more than 3%.

In the past 3 months the service has definitely taken a nose dive. Also something wasn’t right with the food. I actually for the first time in a long time threw out my bagel sandwich because it wasn’t fresh as I always come to expect. Also please check your prices. I’ve come in there the past 4 times in 2 months and ordered the same thing and got charged 4 different amounts.
This place is starting to not to look good. It’s really sad to because Ho-Ho-Kus needs that breakfast place. I’ve been going to this bagel shop for almost 4 years. The quality of food and service was spot on!!

They are under new management. They tried to put egg and cheese on top of the box cream cheese spread. They must’ve miss-heard. When I got home, the cream cheese on my bagel was rancid. I’ll be going to a different Bagel Shoppe for no one. I hope this is just a learning curve for the new management. The coffee was good though, and the worker was very nice – obviously just new.

Awesome and friendly staff, offer gluten-free bagels as well. So now the whole family can enjoy a fun meal without one person un-able to eat. Keep up the great work… place is awesome and great for a quick family bite which can be shared by all.

I so desperately wanted to love this place. Perfect location, perfect atmosphere, nice decor, great coffee, great selection of cream cheeses… Bagels fell well short of expectations.. Bagels did not seem freshly made, more like freshly microwaved.

Since I work in contruction,I’ve been buying breakfast all over New Jersey and this is definitely the worst one. Egg sandwiches double in price, and burnt coffee. Horrible service on top of everything! Had 5 coffees,couldn’t even bring them back to working sight because of no holders. No words for my disappointment!

First impression: I should have walked out. The coffee grinder is disgusting. The place appears neglected and the cinnamon raisin bagel was tastless and chewy. My scrambled eggs were fried brown. I wish I threw this sandwich to the squirrels. It wasn’t worth the $7 or the heartburn!
