Thai Boat noodles were okay.. Pho was not the best. I would get both somewhere else.

Raw laab was okay. Very tender & nicely cut meat which we liked but lacking laab seasoning, spicy, sourness & bitterness. Have had their steam rolls many times & they are consistently good though, nice thick rolls & I like the pepper with it.

the environment itself is just very weird to be a restaurant. we got there at 8pm on a Saturday.. you sit in the big main dining hall with dj/party music playing. then there’s the side room with its doors open & people blasting their own music (different genre).. it was just so weird. then at 9pm they turn off the lights to get ready for their nightlife lol we were sitting in the dark eating also it took 50mins for 2 pho, 1 Thai Boat, 1 stream roll order & 1 raw laab to be served.

I would go here to grab drinks & dance with friends but not for sober dining loll

6/8/2022. Worst experience ever. The family went to Hmong House after High School graduation. We had a big group taking 5 tables. When we got there, the place was basically empty, only 2 tables were taken, seems like they ate already just chit chatting. There was no waitress/waiter working, the guys taking our orders were bar tenders which was fine, but after taking our orders, it seems like forever for our food to come out. Food also came out really unorganized, appetizer, entree, appetizer, etc. They had a pho special that day, buy 1 get one half off. A few of the family member did order the pho especially 1 of the table that did order majority pho. They waited 2 hours for the pho to come out, waiting that long, we shared whatever we had that was still coming to our table and gave it to their table as they haven’t even gotten any of there food yet. For them to have pho special and wait 2 hours for pho, it seems like they don’t even have any pho broth in stock. My sister also had pho and her pho came out luke warm. Our table, we order pad thai, fried rice, wontons, and a fish dish. The only good food we had was the beef brisket, which I did not take a photo because we waited that long and everyone was hungry. Wontons were okay. Pad Thai was mushy, noodles all broken, did not taste good, seems to have a lot of fluid sauce of some kind. Fried rice is mushy. By the time the fish dish came out 2 hours later, there was no motivation to eat anymore. The other table did eat a bit of it. I did taste the fish and it was greasy. One of the family member cancelled his pho waiting 2 hours, no appetite to eat anymore. Some orders never came out at the other table which we cancelled. When we were leaving, one of the guy told use that they were short staff, 1 cook, no waiters as they called in. My sister gave them a day notice calling them to see if they needed reservation for a big group. Apparently they thought that they can handle it, but that’s no excuse, if you don’t have the employee capacity to serve a big group, then don’t do it. In the end, the one guy did apologize, but that doesn’t account for the bad experience and bad food.

Calamar is delicious with the sauce! Seafood boil was actually Asian mild spice level. We would have made it spicier if it wasn’t for our kids. There was more seafood boil in our to go order on the side (not pictured). I prefer Hmong House seafood boil compared to Millions Crab Seafood boil bc it was more flavorful. The cajun garlic butter sauce is finger licking good!!! We ate the leftover garlic sauce with rice and it definitely hit the spot! Can’t wait till they full open bc we will be back! Customer service was excellent and prompt as well!! Satisfied customers!!!

Under the new owners of the Vang family. We chose Hmong house for our wedding venue and it was very reasonably priced. The chef Leng, provided outstanding curry, wings, and fried shrimp. Many of our guests thought the food was catered through Bonsai or another venue but all the food was made in house. We were able to have plenty of time to get into the venue the morning of and setup with time to spare. The experience with them was great and I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone had an outstanding night!

Went for a friend’s DJ set on a Friday. It was a cozy venue, with delicious noodles and good drinks.

I like that they personally open the extra room/ area for customers to enjoy eating while other events are going on. Kid friendly place. Foods are always hot which I’m thankful for. Haven’t tried the roasted pig yet but hope it will be fresh and surprisingly seasoned well.

Food is good. The steam roll is bomb. Fresh and a lot of meat.

Food came out weird, entree, appetizers, then pho. Time between food coming out was long so we finished the plate, waited then more came, etc.

No plates or spoon/fork, had to ask. No napkins, we had to grab ourselves. Check didn’t come out, had to find waiter in the kitchen.

Probably won’t go again for lunch/dinner services. Will still order appetizers during DJ night though.

Our family rented this place out for an early Sunday event. Puke still on the floor, beer bottles everywhere. Only one worker working on cleaning, very unprofessional. Still tried to make the best out of it. Paid for the chairs and tables to be covered, we had to do it all ourselves. Food was late. Workers stole a bunch of food. What did we pay for?

Terrible customer service and the food quality is overpriced. I gave this restaurant multiple chances, but my recent bad experience was the last straw. Never going back there again. The guy ordered our food without writing it down and missed an item—not to mention he forgot the order and asked a few times to confirm (without writing it down again) while at the register. Never came by to check on us nor refill our water (#1 pet-peev). Very unprofessional. MN needs to pass a law to require all businesses do customer service training if not already. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is another train wreck waiting to go out of business or ownership change again.
