My husband brought me a salad and sushi, from here the salad was very fresh and tasted pretty good. The sushi was very delicious will visit soon.

We were excited to see a Japanese restaurant again near our house. We tried it out on the first night. We received some of the worst service we have received including waiting over 30 minutes after finishing eating to even catch our waitress to ask for the check. She brought my order of sushi nachos without any of the toppings at all including seaweed salad, crab stick, squid salad, sauces and never returned again nor same close enough to ask her about it until over an hour later when we finally were about to flag her down for the bill. We paid the $20 for the dish and paid for the rest of the dinner and chalked the visit up to growing pains since it was opening night. We returned maybe 10-15 more times. Many times we tried to visit they would be closed with no posting saying closed and in the middle of their posted hours but we foolishly returned because the food is okay and the location is close to home. Each visit they would be out of multiple items we tried to order including we once were told they had no fish for sushi except tuna, no avocado etc. Tonight’s visit tops them all though. I ordered the soba noodles to add to my entree which the menu states “add soba noodles to any entree for $1,” as I have on several occasions. When I got the bill tonight it said $3 and as I handed the young man who waited on us the check to pay I politely said the noodles were charged at $3 and the menu says it costs $1 to add them and asked him to please correct this. The woman sitting beside him said to me “no ma’am, that’s if you substitute only”. I said the menu says nothing about having to substitute anything but simply and clearly says ADD. She then told me she’s sorry I misunderstood. I said there’s no misunderstanding as add and substitute don’t mean the same thing. I paid the overcharged bill again anyway and left. She came outside as we were getting in our car and yelled at us. I thought surely she had looked at the menu and realized it plainly said add and was bringing a refund of the difference and going to apologize. Instead she said “Since there’s a misunderstanding, I just ask that you don’t return”. I have no intentions of returning after this visit especially after I overlooked so many previous issues and was treated like this when that is clearly what the menu said. The menu also states right below this you can add extra meat for set prices but I suppose you have to forfeit your chosen meat to do so. Unbelievable and totally unprofessional.

I will say the lady at the counter was Extremely courteous and kind…. But that’s the end of my good review. I’m so upset about my food. Everything from the veggies to the meat had No flavor whatsoever. Very skimpy on sauces when cooking. I know the one on Abercorn has Tons of flavor. I’ll be making the extra drive. Sorry guys. Maybe call them to see what they are doing differently….?

I called my order in 30 minutes before I went to pick it up. When I got there the girl told me my order was not ready yet. I told her it had been more than enough time to get it ready. She went to the back to check and came back and told me that he had not even put it on the grill yet! The restaurant was empty except for one other person so it was not like they were busy! If that is the way they do their customers they won’t be open long!

My food came out 55 minutes after I ordered. Caused people in my party to have to leave due to time constraints. When I questioned our server about the long delay, there was no sign of care or concern what so ever.

Tried Hiranos for the first time today. It was amazing. Tried the crispy roll with onions aka the ken rolls. Dont know the waitress name but she was wonderful. Will visit again soon.
