Hip Pocket Pizza Parlor

  4.4 – 285 reviews  $ • Pizza restaurant

We are a local mom & pop pizza parlor that opened in 1976. Our family added a line of Mexican food and a variety of salads and sandwiches over the years. Our pizza crust is a unique cracker style, our sauce is our own special recipe, and both are made from Scratch. We use high quality toppings and lots of them, including fresh sausage and hamburger. We use 100% real beef and cheese and white meat chicken on all of our Mexican food and pizza and salads. Our portions are generous and delicious. Our family is proud to be a part of Buffalo and support our schools and local community. We have a family friendly store and strive to offer great food and great service at great prices.

We gave it another go after more than 4 years, hoping it got better. It didn’t. All 4 of us were very dissatisfied with the the high price for sub par ingredients and bad taste. We all agreed to never eat there again. We were reminded of why we hadn’t revisited. It has a dirty, dingy, old place feel to it. Seating isn’t great and the booths in the back tiny room are literally falling apart. Dingy, unappetizing, and too expensive for the sub par food and service. We all tried something different and ordered appetizers and NONE of it tasted good. Edible at best.

Worst pizza in history. Frozen pizza is better than the pizza here. Crust looked like a pre-made frozen crust. Crust tasted like it was made from saltine crackers. Sauce was horrible. We spent $35 on 1 pizza. Never again. Definitely avoid this pizzeria.

I really enjoyed the pizza and yes it reminds me kinda of a cracker but goes well with ingredients of pizza. I gave 3 stars only because it’s little overpriced. 2 medium pizza and drinks was $41 dollars. Hawaian and supreme in pics
