I recently visited Hip Hop Pizza and had an outstanding experience. On Wednesday, February 25, 2025, I enjoyed a flavorful Philly cheesesteak sandwich combo with fries and a soda. Every bite was phenomenal!
I was so impressed that I returned on February 27, 2026, and treated myself to two more Philly cheesesteaks for my sister and I along with garlic parmesan and mild wings. The food was absolutely delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the quality was well worth it.
The owner was incredibly down‑to‑earth and welcoming, making the experience even better. I highly recommend Hip Hop Pizza for anyone looking for great food and friendly service!

New Owner of 2 months and in the middle of remodeling but don’t let the remodeling fool you from coming in to try this place out. The philly cheese steak was amazing. The pepperoni pizza was great and also really good cinnamon rolls. I would say most importantly was the great customer service from the owner. He made this food with so much love and me and my son felt that with every bite. I can’t wait to come back here. Best of luck.

I stopped by the other day to check on the grocery store next door.
The owner Rich was super friendly and suggested I try their California pie- it had a white cheese base, caramelized onion, bacon and sun dried tomato. Absolutely delicious flavors and the crust was freshly made.
The kindness of the owner drew me in but I stayed for the interesting flavors!
Would recommend!!

Went there to get a cuban sandwich from the little shop next to it, the two stores are connected so we walk into the pizza shop and we all had a slice of pizza, nice genuine guy named Rick who makes the pizza, all from scratch, delicious pizza, great prices, great atmosphere, he’s having local artist paint in his store. Pizza and Cuban sandwich get five stars. Will be going back.

Just got some wings and pizza and noticed there was rice and pork and beans. Wings, fat and juicy- perfect!. Pizza, nice crispy crust and got to watch it be made and watch it turn in their oven. -awesome! And I didn’t anticipate to see that pork and rice n beans .. all I can say.. one word, PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Everything was sooo good. The owner is new! He is so nice and had a conversation about his plans for the place. I can not WAIT To see the changes he will make. And I also can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.

I used to get Cubans for many years but they closed to remodel. I came for a Cuban and remembered how I love a good Reuben. Turns out they are thru a door.
There, I met Rick who just took over this restaurant a month ago. WHAT A NICE MAN. We chatted a while and he told me his plans for the place (a seating area, mural and so on, it is a work in progress which is ok because I do take out).
The Reuben was delicious, the kind of sandwich I will judge other Reubens against. Lots of corned beef, cooked right, lots of kraut and swiss, good sauce on perfectly toasted round rye.
As much as I like Reubens, I look forward to trying the other menu items: Spaghetti, ravioli, and so on. Rick used to be chef at The Gardens, a TempleTerrace favorite restaurant that closed years ago, a place I enjoyed back then. I look forward to watching Hio Hop Pizza Shop evolve.

Very fresh pizza/wings had some crisp on the outside and goes well with/ blue cheese -homemade blue cheese next ? lol /First time trying chicken and waffles , the sample will leave you wanting more soft but well done waffle with just enough texture to differ from the chicken , the pizza was very good as well -I’m from ny and today I was seeking a nostalgic feel of soft fresh dough/saucy /cheesy on top of a crisp bottom(I am used to harder crisp but this was great regardless ) and this def hit that spot , customer service was excellent and he gives students discount , I love the fact of incorporating a vibe w/

Hands down the best pizza and Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had. Everything is freshly made and you can tell the difference. It’s night and day customer service and rich the owner is always happy to help make sure you’re satisfied
