We tried the house and the spicy miso butter corn ramen and I can’t wait to go back and try the others. Service was gentle and efficient.
The place is in a great place to eat before a show or downtown event. Parking after 6 is easy right on the street or the paid parking structure nearby.
There is plenty of metered street parking around and it’s right next to a parking garage.
It’s a cozy and spacious space. Not to cramped that you can hear everybody’s conversations. There are bar seating available.
I chose the QR code ordering option. They have the physical menu and ordering with a staff available. Staff was courteous and polite.
I ordered the clam ramen with regular spice. It’s definitely not a usual order, but I’ve never seen this option available anywhere else so I had to try. They have a disclaimer in the menu that there may be some small shell remnants and some sand, and they were right. I’ve had clams plenty of times before so that wasn’t a surprise nor a problem for me. It was so good! There wasn’t any kind of seafood-y or fishy smell or taste. The broth was clean, very flavorful. I ordered spicy garlic crunch on the side and that made the bowl perfect. I didn’t need to add anything else extra to flavor the broth. The noodles had a nice bounce and chew to them.
I didn’t feel heavy or bloated after finishing the whole bowl! That’s another factor I look for whenever I eat ramen. Other places would make me feel so bloated after eating and sometimes nauseous, too. This location is definitely more memorable than Campbell, I like it better.
Bottom line: very much worth the try! Will be back!
Excellent service overall.
Not to mention the egg was overboiled and chashu was watery
me 10 mins or less to finish
This staff out of 3 different locations seems to be the most burnt out group. There was little waiting time to seating. The main thing was how much they checked on my friend and I. Why did it take 20 minutes to grab us a pitcher of water? The server was quick to give water to 4 other parties who were sitted after us with little wait. It’s a quick sit, scan qr, and receive food model they have, but it’s kind of inexcusable to not bring water if that is the bare miminum that the server needs to do.
Once you’ve gotten your food, you don’t really see the waiters much anymore. You’ve gotten your food and you have paid so what more do you need? We had to flag someone down to get containers and a bag for the leftovers.
Aside from the no contact ordering, the food is very good and tastes fresh. The servings are plentiful and we all enjoyed everything very much. The clam ramen is fabulous! They give you sooooo many clams! We had never had that before, nor thought of the combo…delish!
My one complaint is the seating. I have a really difficult time with hard chairs and they are straight wood. I guess I’m thankful they aren’t metal at least. 🙂
We already loved the Campbell location so I’m glad this is close to my work.
