Great place for sushi, date nights, celebrations and overall atmosphere.
The sushi was fresh and well put together. They have a MASSIVE selection of rolls to choose from as well as sashimi, nigiri and everything else you could imagine.
Friendly staff and decent wait times. I recommend making a reservation especially for Fri and Sat nights. The apps took quite a while and they did forget one of our rolls but the server was really good.
Prices a bit on the high side compared to other places but not bad. Overall great food and a great experience.

Came in for a late lunch with the Fam, service was excellent, I had the Steak and Scallops with some Sushi Rolls, it was soo good! This place is very large inside, with lots of seating. Reservation definitely advise. Their Hot n Spice sauce is the best!

We’ve been to Hino quite a few times, it’s always been great. Always packed so make sure you have the time. The food is plenty and tasty. We like the sushi rolls, and teppanyaki. The filet, chicken, shrimp are delicious with, of course, the fried rice. If you like some spice, their spicy mayo is a must. Staff is friendly and consistently checks on you for refills, etc. The best teppanyaki place in town hands down.

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday week at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. My kids, who are 10 and 7 years old, thoroughly enjoyed the teppanyaki experience. The chef and staff went above and beyond to ensure it was a memorable celebration for her. The portion sizes were generous, and the chef was knowledgeable and experienced. The teppayanki shrimp and chicken tasted fresh and perfect. There is a wait time even on weekday afternoons. I would recommend a reservation. You may have to share a table with other guests if you are fewer than 6 people. The guests who joined us were polite and kind to us. One-of-a-kind dining experience.

Just popped in for a quick bite at the tail end of happy hour. I sat at the bar and was served by Steven, he was great, quick to get my order and checked on me at reasonable intervals. Easy and friendly interaction overall.
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is on whoever should have been running food, which, based on my own experience in the industry, was probably the rest of the crew as it was a slow Monday and bartenders tend to be trapped behind the bar. I ordered nigiri and it took probably about 10 minutes to be delivered, I heard him ask a server to check on it but they never came back. He eventually went and got it himself, apologizing for the delay. Again, nothing against him here – he was busy making drinks the whole time. But once I took a bite of room temp tuna, it confirmed that it was ready and waiting a bit for a runner. This might not be a common occurrence but I’ve seen similar delays during past experiences, having to even ask a couple times about an item before it was delivered. Full hands in, full hands out (of the Back of House) and general team work would help with this issue.
I’ll keep on coming back cause the food, service, and vibe is generally great. While still a bit pricey(cause its seafood, duh) this is some of the most reasonable prices in town for sushi. Just wish the happy hour was a smidgen longer so I could actually get to it after work more often.

I come here often because I know a good meal is always guaranteed. The food is always serves relatively quickly and the fried rice is simply the best you can get in fresno. The spicy mayonnaise sauce is also amazing…some of the best I’ve had in the world!

Great place. You have two options here: one is like Benihana style where the chef cooks in front of you. I didn’t try that one. The other option is a traditional seating.
We visited this restaurant during the long weekend of Memorial Day. We were a party of 13 and the wait wasn’t too long for dinner.
Food is great, so great that one of my friends is thinking about driving back here for lunch (2 hours drive from San Jose).
My 10 years old son always eat nigiri, edamame and he likes it. I ordered teriyaki steak and salmon with stirred fried vegetable, really good. My friend said her fried rice was good.
I recommend this place.

We go to this place quite often probably once a month or so all the way from Hanford and it’s well worth it. The food the atmosphere the service and the surrounding areas are great. There’s a section for the Teppanyaki show or just private dining either way the food and drinks or top-notch And definitely recommend it’s worth the drive if you’re from out of town like us. The pricing isn’t too bad either considering the quality of food and service that you get.

Slowest service I’ve experienced. Our waiter kept passing by our table with other’s orders. We’ve waited almost 30-45 minutes to even place our order after an hour still no food. After almost 2 hours we finally got our food. But my order was wrong and I decided not to be picky. But overall good food. Bad experience.

Great vibe and good appetizers. We like to sit at the bar where there is plenty of space.
