Nice lowkey speakeasy. Craft cocktails, good atmosphere, great music. The staff was very accommodating.

Himitsu is more than your run-of-the Mill speakeasy bar. If you snag the code to get inside, you’re in on the sexy secret. The space is beautiful. Dimly-lit Tom Dixon lights adorn the room. The music is quiet enough to have a conversation.

The service was warm and friendly; the cocktail program creative and delicious. We ordered the Papurika and Kemuri. Both were delicious, with fresh quality ingredients. I will definitely return to explore more of the menu.

This is a beautiful place with an excellent ambience. Bartenders are knowledgeable about their craft. Brandon provided fantastic service.

Great place to celebrate or bring a date. It’s very expensive. My 12-year whiskey was $45 a pop. My friend and I walked out with a nearly $200 bill. So this isn’t your everyday drinking hole.

We came last night on a Saturday evening and it was not that busy. I hope the place doesn’t go out of business. I think they went overboard on pricing, thus 4 stars rather than 5.

This was my second time here. The first time I was here Chops nearby caught on fire in this bar filled with smoke and we all had to evacuate.

Himitsu is hands down one of Atlanta’s best-kept secrets, and for good reason—it’s the perfect blend of sophistication, creativity, and atmosphere. The vibe is upscale yet unpretentious, making it the perfect spot for an intimate night out or a refined prelude to an evening in Buckhead.

Alex, one of the mixologists, is truly a master of his craft. Every cocktail feels like a work of art, balancing innovative techniques with a respect for classic flavors. Shoutout to Roderick and Brendan, whose hospitality and cool energy make every visit unforgettable. And let’s talk about the playlist—every track hits, setting the tone for a laid-back yet elevated experience.

Himitsu is one of those spots you almost don’t want to share—it’s that good. But it’s definitely worth the hype for those lucky enough to make it in. Just don’t forget: this is a place to bring your best vibes and your best company. Cheers to keeping the magic alive!

Himitsu is such an amazing experience. I made a reservation for a Saturday at 8:15pm for a solo night out. I arrived a tad early but Brendan was very accommodating and opened the door early for me. I wanted to try alot of different items so I alternated between drinks and various dishes all night. As the night went on the bartender, Roderick, began to understand my taste preferences a bit more and recommended some amazing drinks and dishes for me.

For food I tried the yellow tail, the wings and the duck. My absolute favorite was the duck. I will definitely be a regular visitor for that alone.

For drinks I had the Champagne Pina Colada to start. Then I transitioned to the Waygu old fashioned which would pair great with a nice steak. It reminded me of eating a steak that is braised in bourbon. Roderick then made a variation on a Manhattan for me which was great to sip on after my meal. He was also able to craft a few shots that I loved. He’s a true cocktail artist.

The ambiance here is great. Lots of 90s and 2000s hip hop/ rnb. All the bartenders were really nice. An easy place to chill and vibe alone, with friends or come on a date. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Feels like a speakeasy bar. Good vibes and great drinks. Getting a reservation was a task, was it worth it? Absolutely yes. The decor and ambiance is very classy and dark. They have bar food, nothing fancy. Their espresso martini was amazing. I would recommend reservations ahead. Parking was easy and they have valet as well.

Himitsu is a truly immersive experience that delights all of the senses! From the visually stunning ambiance to the intimate atmosphere, every detail is thoughtfully crafted. The cocktails and appetizers are nothing short of exceptional, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors. Entry was smooth and effortless, and the hostess was both knowledgeable and welcoming, ensuring a seamless start to the evening. Roderick, the bartender, is a true expert, offering attentive service and a deep passion for craft spirits. My personal favorite, the Wagyu Old Fashioned, is a masterpiece—the texture is luxuriously smooth, while the flavor is bold and complex. A must-visit for any connoisseur of fine cocktails and culinary excellence!

We were here Friday night for a corporate Christmas party. We started with cocktails then our bartender gave us about a 30–45min mixology class which was cool…after we headed upstairs for “snacks” from Umi next door & more drinks. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, awesome staff, the beautiful interior & the drinks were really very impressive. We really enjoyed the sushi plates from Umi. I think everyone really enjoyed themselves!!

Drinks were perfect. The ambiance is intimate. Drinks are pricey but worth it in my opinion. They have a great collection of whiskeys and bourbons that is served in exquisite glassware by knowledgeable bartenders.
