Nice, hole in the wall type of restaurant. Their food was pretty okay but nothing too special in my opinion. The authentic Indian, hakka and Thai food I’ve eaten in the past were a lot spicier, this was on the milder side, which might be a good thing if you’re now exploring this cuisine. Their Naan was one of the best I had though, really nice

I came here with a large group and we ordered a number of dishes from the Indian menu. Everything was delicious, with a variety of flavors that scintillated the senses. The restaurant is a hole in the wall that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about; the decor is no-frills but the flavor is jam packed.

Excellent food with fairly high prices but worth it because of delicious tastes! Setting is like a cafe, nothing fancy.

One word… DELICIOUS! The food at this place is very delicious but my favourite thing from Himchuli is the cashew roll. It is a delicacy that is a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth cashew fudge with a rich, buttery softness and just a hint of chew. It tastes luxuriously rich and nutty, with a natural sweetness that isn’t overpowering.

Humble restaurant, take away available. A lot of food options for each type of food catered (Thai, Hakka, Indian, Nepali). More Vegetarian options than most places. Food is tasty and affordable. Parking can be a little iffy if it’s busy.
Update: tried the naan basket, excellent as expected.

If you love Indian Food or Hakka Food, you have got to try them out! The food is fresh and absolutely delicious . 5/5. Service is very professional. The atmosphere is quiet, not fancy but is just right.
The shrimp curry and naan , I love it!
Try them out, you won’t regret it.
And the best part is the prices are reasonably great for the portions you get.

Terrible food experience. Small portions, food was not tasty and it was extremely overpriced. You’re better off getting your money’s worth at Passage to Asia.

I ordered from Himchuli today, hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I got the Hakka rice and spicy chicken – $99 for a large and $55 for a small. Right away, the portion size was underwhelming for the price, but I still held out hope for the taste.
Sadly, the food was outright terrible. The Hakka rice tasted like plain boiled vegetables and rice mixed together—nothing close to actual Hakka flavors. As for the spicy chicken, it barely had any meat! I was given mostly bones—a piece of back with neck, a rib, a bottom piece, and a tiny inch of breast. If you’re charging premium prices, the least you can do is serve proper boneless meat or decent portions.
To make things worse, I tried calling to complain, but no one answered. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I definitely won’t be buying from here again. Selling food like this is unacceptable!
