I’m not sure if this is a different regional cuisine or what, but this was not it. The best things on our table were the naan and the rice. The chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and chicken korma were definitely not good. The chicken tikka and korma used the same sauce, both especially creamy and bland. No rich tomato, spice or nutty flavors, just straight up jar sauce. And the butter chicken’s sauce was broken – oil and liquid bits almost immediately separated in the bowl.

This is a meal my family usually devours and asks for seconds, fighting over the last few pieces of chicken or sauce for our rice. We left food on the table, unfortunately.

This is the best Indian Reastaurant. Me and my husband went yesterday which was Sunday and had the best cracked pepper chicken and fish Tikka masala. The atmosphere is awesome and the chef cooks from his heart. The taste of the recipes are exactly what you will order in India.

We had a chance to eat at Himani on our road trip. We didn’t expect much until we tasted their food. The food is very fresh and hit the palate right with all the right flavors. We live in Texas, coming this from us tells something about their food

The service was fast and friendly! The we’re on top of the water. And the food was great! Very happy. I’ve been to just about every Indian restaurant I’ve ever seen so I know what I’m looking for. This place is awesome

We tried Himani today and it was fantastic. We had the paleek panir (vegetarian) and chicken coconut korma. The flavor of the food really popped, even in the “mild” dish without being overly spicy. The naan was perfect. I have never had better. They’ve also got the best mango lassi I’ve ever tasted if you are so inclined. Definitely worth a try.

I tried the Navratan (vegetable) biryani here, and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful, balanced, filled with good veggies and nuts, and not overly oily or spicy. You could feel the care in every bite. Also, I loved an outside seating on a beautiful sunny day.

As a traveler, I appreciated the warm, family-run vibe, especially seeing the owners with their kids on site—it added to the experience. I noticed Google’s AI review summary mentioned that the service could be slow, so I called about 15 minutes ahead—and the food was ready right when I arrived. The owner shared that things used to get really slammed during and after COVID, but now the rush is more manageable. So that past slowness may no longer apply.

This place gave me real confidence in veggie dishes—proving they can be as (or more) flavorful than meat dishes when made with true care. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
