Wow. Simply wow. Unexpectedly PHENOMENAL Nepalese/Tibetan food at super reasonable prices with LARGE portions! I consider myself a bit of a “foodie” and when driving through I did NOT expect some of the best food I’ve ever tasted—ever. No, really. The Momo and sauce were out of this world. I couldn’t stop eating the Thukpa noodle soup dish—bursting with flavor in every bite. The Bhaat fried rice dish was so amazing. I cannot describe the exquisite-ness of the food. Clearly homemade. The restaurant itself is unassuming, and we had a quiet, but kind, waiter. You would never expect how spectacular the flavor development is…we drive to and from Denver a couple times a year. We usually take Wolf Creek pass—but this restaurant may have changed our pathway forever, as I want to stop here in Montrose for this food! Wow. Cheers to this restaurant and chef(s) for the spice development and delicious food. We will most certainly be back!

Great food and solid flavors. Not the best Himalayan I’ve ever had, but very good; especially considering the location. Solid 4 stars.

I live in Durango, and occasionally drive through Montrose. Today my boyfriend and I made the best possible decision food-wise by deciding to eat here on a whim.

The only other Nepalese place that I’ve been to in this part of the state is Himalayan Kitchen in downtown Durango. AND LET ME TELL YOU HIMALAYAN KITCHEN DOESN’T HOLD A CANDLE TO PUN HILL KITCHEN.

Best Nepalese food I’ve had in a long time. I cannot express this enough, it was so good. To quote my boyfriend, “Evertime I put something in my mouth there’s a party.”

Be smart. Eat here.

This Nepalese restaurant serves surprisingly amazing Indian food! Flavors are authentic, portions are generous, and the vibe is warm. Perfect stop for travelers—right near Black Canyon National Park. Definitely recommend!

Had chicken momos, saag paneer, and garlic naan. The momos are tasty. The naan is very soft, light, and fluffy – the best garlic naan I’ve ever had. The paneer is soft too.

We went all out (appetizers, sides, entres) and everything we tried was DELISH. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!

We decided to stop at the restaurant for lunch.
I was looking forward for the buffet but was told that they do not do it anymore.
We ordered the dumplings for appetizer and they were really good.
My chicken curry was amazing:the chicken was tender, sauce was not too spicy and had plenty of flavor. The vegetables curry was great as well.
Naan garlic was fresh and tasted great.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the service needs to be a bit better and the building is really old and could use updating.
Otherwise it’s a family owned business with amazing food.

We stopped to pick up a ‘to go’ order on Sunday afternoon. There was one couple dining in, and two or three people came to pick up to go as well. It took quite some time to get the food, but we did order quite a few items. My aunt is deathly allergic to bell pepper, so she was not able to partake in the samosa’s, and we suspect she couldn’t do the veggie curry as it smelled like bell pepper to me. However, everything we tried was delicious. We can’t rate the service or atmosphere since we didn’t eat in, but it’s a true hole in the wall that is very cute.

The food was so good, I came back the next evening. Multiple vegetarian options! Service was quick too. I had a vegetable noodle soup, the Veggie Thukpa, the first night. Lots of vegetables and flavor. On the second night, I got the veggie dumplings and lentil soup. The mango lassi was delicious too. Great value. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! We were blown away by the flavors. Great vegan options. We got the tofu annapurna, vegetable momos, and veggie chow chow.
They were busy and it was a wait for food to come out on a Saturday night, but they did let us know that before we were seated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful Himalayan food in the area.
