I had a fantastic experience at Sakina Grill, an authentic Pakistani restaurant. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and the staff was courteous and helpful. They accommodated my request to make some changes in the menu. The food was excellent, fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the chicken karahi, which was fragrant and rich. The price and the portions were reasonable, and I felt satisfied and happy after my meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Pakistani food or wants to try something new and exciting.

Food was pretty good. They aren’t able to make accommodations on anything. The a/c wasn’t running and it was hot and humid inside. Pretty sure the fries are cooked in the same oil as things with wheat flour so not gluten friendly. We’d come again maybe, if they just fixed the air issue. Was very stuffy.

This is the first time we dine in here. We ordered bunch of food. One of the best was chicken choila which is Popular Nepali food. My daughter enjoyed naan and noodles. The atmosphere is very nice with lovely music. We will be back other time.

One of the best experiences in DC. The all-you-can-eat buffet is an excellent value. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They treat everyone with respect, including those that cannot afford a meal (they give free takeout to those in need).

Went here during Ramadan in 2023, the staff was really polite. Presented us with options and suggested best value for money was the buffet. We tried buffet and most of the items were amazing. The biryani was flavorful, so was chole( chick peas), and palak paneer. All other options were also great. In dessert, they had option of gulab jamun that was hot and tender.

This place has amazing food, vibes and staff. The butter chicken, naan and rice were especially delicious! Everyone was very attentive and friendly, Hassan made sure that we were well taken care of and that we had a nice experience. They all care about everyone who walks in and it shows. The owner Kazi is a wholesome and kind man who gives back to his community feeding the homeless whenever they come in which is so amazing to see and makes a difference in the world that needs so much light. I can’t wait to come back my next time in D.C.

I must say they do give quite a good amount of biriyani. One of my friends suggested this place and from then onwards Sakina Halal Grill became one of my favorite restaurant. Great ambience, beautiful decorations and great service Alhamdulillah. Their kababs are just amazing and it comes with rice and generous amount of salads.
