O
I placed an order for delivery through DoorDash.

I ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, and chicken momo. The butter chicken came with fried onions on top of the rice.
I love the garlic naan. I’m not sure if the garlic naan already comes with the butter chicken but I ordered garlic naan as well. There was plenty of garlic naan for me, it was delicious , soft , and chewy. I love dipping my naan in the butter chicken sauce.

The chicken momos are fantastic. The wrapper is thin and chewy, I’m not sure if they make their own wrappers but it tasted like it! The sauce that came with the momos paired well together. The chicken filling itself was juicy.

I cant wait to try more from the restaurant !

I’m told this place is barely a month old, but they’re hitting their stride early. We went with the “safe” Option ordering the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken. Wow. It is so very good. When the food came out, the portions looked medium, once you start digging in there’s a lot of food there. I got the medium spice and it was perfect. Perfectly warm. You could still taste the food, all the flavor was there, and some heat.

10 out of 10 would recommend. You need to come support this local business because the food is amazing.

There’s a new tasty, inexpensive, amazing Indian restaurant in Lynnwood and you need to come check it out.

We were excited when this new Nepali resturant opened near us and we went to it a couple of times for dine in and takeout. What drew us in initially, apart from the novelty, was their great prices. The food was okay, but the prices made up for it and it definitely was a bang for the buck. The service was also good (specially the very genial owner dai) but was at times bit slow and flustered.

As Nepali restaurants in/near Seattle go, there unfortunately aren’t really any that truly capture the essence and taste of home.

What made Himalayan Diner worth it was that their momo wasn’t something abnoxiously priced as say Annapurna or Everest Kitchen.

But two months in the prices have gone up significantly (some items by 20-30%) which has taken away the one advantage this resturant had. It is now a restaurant that has okay food, and is no longer all that cheap or bang for the buck.

I understand, of course, that these are difficult times and the cost of business is high and keeps rising. But what has happened with the prices at Himalayan Diner feels a bit like a bait and switch.

Nevertheless, the resturant is still a welcome addition to the area. At least people now don’t have to go out to Bothell or Everett, if not further, for some tolerable South Asian food.

Delicious food! We started with the Lasooni Gobi appetizer, crispy, battered cauliflower florets tossed in a bold, and slightly sweet garlic sauce. I would come here if this was the only dish they offered! The lamb curry and chicken korma served with basmati rice were both very good. We had “medium” spice which was perfect … not so much that you notice it at first bite, but a nice lingering heat while you savour each bite. Hubby enjoyed a Stella Artois beer which paired well with our food. For dessert we enjoyed the Rasmalai, which had two pieces of a paneer-like cheese in a sweet, creamy, and aromatic milk syrup, topped with minced pistachios. Each piece is 8 grams of protein which is a nice way to justify a dessert! Service was excellent. Our waters were refilled, dishes served hot and in a timely fashion. We will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu.

Mo Mo is really good — it reminds me of homemade food, which I love. The flavors feel authentic and comforting. The prices are amazing, especially for the quality. They opened not too long ago, and I definitely recommend checking it out.

I did take out this night.
I noticed Owner has made many interior restaurant improvements. Two happy family with children parties seated.
Hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable about the available menu items.
One standard item we order was not found on the menu, Bhangan Barti.
Owner acknowledged it not being offered on the menu but…. He offered to make it for me. I bought two orders. It was tasty.

We decided to try out the Himalayan Diner last week. On talking with the staff it sounds like they only opened in September of 2025. It was a Sunday evening and was quiet (it was also Super Bowl Sunday). The room was sparse, no art on the walls, but it seemed comfortable otherwise. We picked up take out, ordering the vegetarian items. The Mango Lassi was good, sweet and thick. I enjoyed the samosas as well; they were mashed veggies with peas. The sauces were good as well. My sister got the vegetable spring rolls, which weren’t to my taste. We also ordered the Navaratan Korma (I particularly enjoyed it) and the Lasooni Gobi (the flavor was excellent but the cauliflower was very chewy). I would try them again since we did find some good dishes, but might not get the Lasooni Gobi as takeout next time.

First of all, I really liked this restaurant. The chai was way beyond my expectation. The lassi was really good, too. However, here are two things I wish they could improve. The main dish I got was medium hot, but it was less spicy than the mildest one from other restaurants. It was like home-made super healthy food for babies. Also, it took too long to get the main dish. I finished my drink way before I got it. Maybe they can prepare things like curry paste ahead of time to give more wholesome spice flavor in it and serve quicker. I hope they can fix these and succeed. I truly wish their best.
