So just ate here. Had the 3 meat plate. Pulled pork, smoked sausage and brisket with baked beans and a loaded baked potato.
The down sides.
Baked beans were (or at least tasted) like bushs baked beans.
Baked potato while well cooked and great size the $3 up charge to load it was not worth it.
Upsides.
The meat was well cooked and great flavor. Not the biggest fan of brisket but hands down the shining star of the meal.
Price for what you get was right on and worth the trip. My meal plus 2 additional one meal meals was $50 and some change.
The staff was great, very friendly and attentive.
The cherry on top was the free ice-cream cone to finish the meal.
Worth the money restaurant.

Back for round two, I was a little disappointed on the fast food style ordering when you first walk in, but will chalk that to maybe staffing issues.
Ordered the three meat plate with pulled pork, sliced brisket, and tried the ribs this time. My sides were the loaded mashed potatoes and fried okra.
The pork and brisket are still my safe bet orders. Brisket was tender and juicy.7/10 Pork is always a good choice. 8/10
The ribs I was not a fan of, the meat was fall of the bone and tender but had a frozen after taste. Still wasn’t the worsed 4/10
The mashed potatoes I added bacon which made the potatoes but a little on the dry side, would have liked to add some butter. 6/10
Fried okra the breading was very good. The okra was a tad under cooked but still very good. 8/10.
I was disappointed that I was given a biscuit and not texas toast.
All and all this trip I would give a 6/10 .

So I ordered doordash on them. I ordered three meat combo. I got one container of barbecue sauce for the three meats. I got three pieces of brisket. Three pieces of burnt end and a quarter piece of it kielbasa. I also ordered a large salad. With a large salad they actually sent me two containers of dressing. Kind of weird that I got two containers of dressing but only one container of barbecue sauce from a barbecue place. Not impressed. Even the salad was just salad with a little bit of cheese, no tomatoes or cucumbers or anything else like that with it. It was ok.

The best ribs I have ordered for sure! The staff was so excellent that I felt like I was being served by family. The environment didn’t make me feel embarrassed while eating a messy meal and I am definitely coming back.

Just stopped in for a quick bite and the service was slow. I ordered some brisket, asked how they did theirs and man I heard good things but idk I guess once you get a taste of Kentucky and Tennessee BBQ (it’s a whole different ball game down there) and then taste this, its like eating old fashioned jerky cuz this stuff at Dicky’s was dry and you’d think it’d spread apart like my ex did for my best friend back in high school. The atmosphere seemed drab like everyone even the customers were all paranoid and uncomfortable like someone pissed in the Cheerios stuff. My mail order bride was super stoked to try some tried and true red white and blue bbq so we poked around and everyone pointed to Dicky’s so here we are sitting in the car after punishing their porcelain bathroom furniture, and I don’t think we’ll ever eat at Ickys again. I would never recommend this place for a few generations like 5. At least 5 or 6. After that it’s whatever. Y’all should check out the pits in Kentucky for some real bbq. Stuff melts like butter, any cut. All day.

Update third visit. I ordered ribs they were juicy and fall off the bone with a great smoke ring and flavor the brisket was juicy and fell apart. This was a way better experience then the two previous visits the are definitely working on the product and I definitely will be going back.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I took myself and my 3 boys here, but an empty parking lot was probably the first red flag. We ordered a variety of food, from brisket to chicken fried steak. The brisket was completely dry and tasteless as was the chicken. One of my sons ordered the smothered fries. It was supposed to be chili. It looked like chili, but like the meats, it had no flavor. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes. Potatoes had a hard crust on the top, fried steak was mediocre at best. Service was decent but nothing to brag about. No BBQ sauce was offered or condiments. I thought the portion size was decent based on the price. No one finished their food:( Maybe it was an off night, but we will probably not be coming back. Best of Luck! I hate leaving negative feedback

About what I’d expect from a chain bbq place. The food was good but not great. I had the 3 meat plate with brisket (sliced) burnt ends and the jalapeño cheddar. The brisket was good as was the jalapeño cheddar sausage. I wish the burnt ends would’ve been a bit more burnt-endy. It was literally the same brisket as the sliced just cut into a square. Food was good, service was adequate. Server was a bit timid and hard to hear at times. But Friday night at 6pm we were one of maybe 4-5 tables. It was affordable. 4 people, we paid 62$.

Everything was just fine. The barbecue is okay, nothing great. The meat is a little tougher than you would expect. The portions are way smaller than the tray they are served on, so you get the impression of a middle school cafeteria that didn’t give you enough food. The okra is good, the baked beans should be skipped. The biggest issue is the price. For a family of four, there’s no way the meal should have been $75 considering the mid-range quality.

My girlfriend and I were apprehensive about trying out Dickey’s based on the reviews, but I’m glad we tried it out. I had the 3 meat plate with sausage pulled pork and pork burnt ends with sides of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese was a little under seasoned for my taste, but everything else was great. The only large disappointment with our experience was the brisket. It was incredibly dry, which is regrettable. Overall Dickey’s was a pretty good experience, and we will be sure to return in the future.
