The overall experience was okay. The server was nice and polite, which I appreciated. However, the food needs improvement. The tandoori roti felt a bit undercooked, almost raw. The paneer dish had only a few pieces of paneer and mostly gravy. The rice was also not well prepared—it was sticky and mushy, almost like it was made in a rice cooker and not properly fluffed. Hopefully the food quality can be improved.”

Friends who work in Nepal made a beeline for this restaurant, treating me and my sister to the lovliest, tastiest evening we can remember. The quiet atmosphere allows lively conversation and invites lingering over dessert. I’m taking my friends there soon to keep the good vibes going.

Went to eat here with a friend last week and I cannot stop thinking about their Chicken Curry and Vegetable Samosah! Absolutely delicious and filling food! The spice was perfect after such a cold day, service was kind and amazing. Will be dining here again!

Delicious Indian food. All curries had different flavours so very well understood that they don’t share a ‘common base’ like many other restaurants. Lassi tasted very natural and glad tried both plain and mango. There are only limited seating options. Service was good. Will repeat given a chance.

The wait staff was lovely but we ordered mild and it was very spicy. It didn’t agree with either of us and we’ve had a great deal of Indian food and love it. The atmosphere was ok but a bit dated. The price for 2 naan bread, one Biryani, one plain rice and 2 butter chicken was $80 with a tip.

I am a Google Local Guide and this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have EVER been to.
The food was exceptional: flavourful, perfect spice levels (i.e. really hot if you order it hot), fresh plentiful chicken, and authentic. And as for the naans, wow, probably the best naans we have ever eaten. They are both crispy and chewy at the same time, how do they do that?!
The samosas are all filling and less pastry, wonderful.
Such good value too: around $14 for a curry and either rice or naan.
All the food came at the right time, our order was accurate, and the food was piping hot.
The service was excellent too.
The place lacks atmosphere and it’s in a strip mall but the food makes up for it in every way. We would almost drive from Halifax for this food!
Take a look at the pics … simply superb.

As a regular customer at Himalayan Cuisine in Charlottetown, wasn’t pleasing to experience such a cruelty. For Mother’s Day I ordered what I usually order, chicken dumplings (with other dishes) around 11:28pm May 12th, 2024. As my family and I were eating, the moment I took the second peace of the dumpling, chewed on a piece hard glass (it was a big one). I spat it out instantly so it wouldn’t cause me any harms. I’d suggest the restaurant to get better food handling system and I advise everyone one to be careful when eating here (anywhere)

Good place to find vegan vegetarian food with friendly service.
They serve rice or naan with each mains and the food is very reasonably priced.
Great value for money.
